Personally i think Billy will win british ,commonwealth and european belts definately. His workrate is great and his variety of punches too, not a bad defence either. World Champ? well thats is a little further on. Please give your views!

I would like to see him fight Saul Alverez next year. Not saying he will win, just want to see it.

I'd like to see how his work-rate is over 8 rounds.

Its tough to say until he fights someone who hits back. Granted his workrate looks great at the moment but will it be so good after 5/6 rounds while hes shipping shots too. I think Jimmy Tibbs was even surprised by the first round Saturday as he was warning Saunders not to punch himself out. His body shots were great though. Would like to see him against the lad Mendy, think hes dropping to middleweight aint he

**** him in with Cello Renda. That would be a good fight. No point in ****in him in with human punching bags anymore.

didn't he throw something like 100 punches in the 1st round on Saturday?

I'm sure Tibbs was telling him to slow it down a bit.

Billy seems like a great kid. I have always liked him since he first turned pro.
I hope we have seen the end of his hand problems so he can get his career back on track.
It's still too early to make any kind of educated guess as to how far he can go though. I'm sure he will be in some great fights though.

You're never going to keep up at over a 100 punches a round with the velocity he was throwing 'em. Not a chance. This ain't Henry Armstrong type ****, that just doesn't happen.

But if ya think, Calzaghe could throw a 1000 on a good night. If you can get 800-900, thats pretty exceptional. Depends on the opponent of course.

I reckon he has the potential to go all the way but I'd like to see him tested against better opposition

He needs a genuine test, maybe for the english title or southern area title. He has massive potential.

I want to see them keep him active over the next year with a few more fights slowly stepping up competition with him going for British title towards the back end of next year. Then give him a few defenses then step up to Euro belt level have a few fights then challenge for the belt. Give him a few more defenses then give him some top 10 kinda names but that shouldn't be for at least 3 years maybe even a little longer.

    How far will he go?

Probably all the way up to inverness, during the summer, theres a nice site just near the 6-a-side pitches and plenty of driveways needing work.
