    In what order would you rank these ATG's???

    Gomez/Olivares is very close for me. I just find Gomez nearly invincible at 122. As for rating those two over Benitez/Canto, I appreciate the guys with power and the willingness to expose themselves a bit to deliver that power.

    I don't wish to downgrade olivares, but Gomez, I believe, was superior to him.

    For me the toughest call is with Olivares and Gomez...Canto is not too far behind them, and last is Benitez.

    Due to Olivares inconsistence, i'd rank Gomez higher, but a fully focused Olivares was just an animal, and i truley believe he could of easily become the greatest Bantam of all time, had he been more consistent.

    Olivares and Canto would be my top dogs maybe, but maybe I'm reading into the fact that they were the ebst of great eras too much, hmm, it's difficult to say. Gomez MIGHT be the best of them and was the best of his era but Olivares' 118 era for example > Gomez' 122 era hands down

    I agree, Canto is very underrated here...One of the greatest defensive fighters of all time, almost always outsized and managed to put on a clinic on his bigger opponents, had a very solid resume, 14 succesful title defenses, ect, ect...You could say that Canto in his peak at Fly was a better boxer than Benitez at any weight, and could have an argument about him being better than Ruben at Bantam. Gomez at 122lbs was better tho. JMO.

    True, but at the same time it's hardly being "downrated" as cobra says to have Gomez, Olivares and benitez above him.Tough company.
