Ok, as I said - I could be completely wrong. I was thinking off the top of my head, must have been thinking of a different interview. It was a distasteful thing to say on national tv.
He doesn't go by being the nice guy, he goes by being the warrior. Adamek fights are usually all sell outs...I don't know of any recent PPV's tho, cause I can't remember the last time Adamek was in a PPV... Hes always shown for free on the Polish channels. I don't even think Poland even has PPV....
With his arrogant proma donna attitude?? OUCH!!!! There's a few legitimate tough guys in the WWE who'd shoot pretty nastily on him and make him cry :yep
I totally disagree, the way Haye acts is great for boxing and generating hype for his fights. Do you really thing people want to see boxers shaking and hands and smiling at each other before the fight and then tapping gloves as respect over and over during the fight, ease up during the fight so they dont hurt there opponent as a sign of respect, then hugging and embracing each other after its over. Or would you rather see 2 people that absolutely despise each other, cant stand one another, wanna hurt, mutilate and embarass there opponent and want to knock the other guy out cold... go at it? When was the last time a heavyweight fight has got so much hype? And this because of a guy, Haye, who has hardly done a thing at heavyweight.
dear polish plumber the fight is already sold, i must admit it is strange that he is quiet but he will be lively on fight night trussss
The problem is haye is a guy who only talks that he hates his opponents and will kill him in the ring, we're talking about haye not mike tyson. After all that bs haye comes to the ring and throws 4 punches per round like in valuev or harrison fight. Then you got adamek who is a nice guy, shake hands with his oppponents but when the fight starts he beats his opponents asses.
I find Toney,Hopkins and Mayweathers ignorant racist attitudes far far more distastful than David Hayes.Haye comes across far more respectful compared to those guys and still manages to hype his fights excellently. Its all well and good acting all nice and shaking everyones hand as if your at a wedding or something but this is the entertainment business its not just a sport it never has been.Thats a lesson the East Europeans have yet to learn and are decades behind UK and USA in.
Wrong dude I like haye ...but he has taken this to a persoal lev. and its a sport ... promo. it is one thing but to hate is another
