Ok, if pbf was to fight srr, they should fight an unlimited round fight. Who would win that, search your feelings Darth, i feel the good in you.

Srr would catch up with Floyd and end his career.

Anyway back to the post in question.

Robinson is over rated in the extreme but even at that he's one of the best ever. Near Perfect? Horse****. His defence was limited and he took lots of punches.

Robinson isn't overrated; we have film accounts and a complete resume.

It is more that greb, langford and fitzsimmons are underrated.

To be honest, when i watch films of him, i can see so many flaws in the way he fights that ALOT of fighters now days would expose. I like him, he was the greatest of his era and held an amazing record but i have seen tons of fight films of fighters since his time that could have exposed him

You're right, S, SRR had lots of flaws, like Ali, but he had a flare for the dramatic -- always wanted to engage, had trigger-quick reflexes, was a STONE KILLER 'n did what few fighters do (except Nonito Donaire): He punched with his opponent. Trading with Sugar was an RX for disaster.

Seeing SRR live rage back with lethal combinations was THRILLING.

Seriously people shouldn't even mention floyd as a welterweight compared to srr. His resume at the weight is good but it aint great, no where near; mitchel, baldomir, judah, hatton, marquez and mosley. That's it.

Floyd is not really proven at this weight. He made his legacy at sfw, this is where he should be compared.

Manny and Floyd really are a joke when compared to Srr. They not even fighting welters and when they do they are no hopers shot to ****. And then you wanna say Srr is overrated? A HA, HAHAHAHAHA. SURE,sure he is simple jack.
