To be fair, Martinez has become somewhat beastly for 160. I think he could possibly KO Floyd, and definitely KO Pac. Be nice if Pac and Floyd were fighting next and the winner was taking on Sergio after that.

Ward vs Martinez would be cool.

Nothing against Pac, just dislike the majority of his fans. Besides, what's wrong? You don't think Pac kills Martinez? :D

professional boxing is first and foremost a business bro, it all comes down to dollars and sense. They will take the fights first that makes them the most money. Pac tried to make a fight with floyd but floyd refused, even if Pac lost who gives a **** people would still watch Pac fights, do you think they are scared of losing I doubt that, but I'm pretty sure floyd is. After floyd ran with his tail beneath his legs, they went after the fights that make the most sense financially. Don't worry after Marquez i bet that they will take a ortiz fight as that makes the most sense financially, there is no money in fighting bradley and no risk btw.

I don't know who would win that fight, its tough to call. If Pac can make martinez respect his power and can take shots from Martinez then yes he has a good chance as Pac destroys southpaws. But the fight will never happen as Martinez would never make it to 150, if they fought at 154, martinez would come in at 170 fight niight, Pac would be 148, thats a 22 lb difference, kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

The arguments get heated because there is no middle ground and no perspective. On one side Pac deserves credit for accomplishing things not just anyone could do. But on the other side people have exalted him a little to high and look to down grade other fighters. Then on the flip side of that, the are people who don't want to give Pac ANY credit for his accomplishment, but again not just anyone could do what he has done.

kessler would probably beat him, just on workrate alone, he's not a pascal who only fights in spots. If they fougth in denmark it could make money or a fight with Bute could make money but Bute hasn't fought any of the supersix fighters yet and I would like to see how he fares against Froch/Kessler/ or even Dirrell before I make any judgements on him yet.

I like Kessler, but Bernard would have him utterly confused.

This post is very biased though. How did Floyd refuse when he offerd 14 days and they turned that down then lied and stated it was never offerd?

Why is it okay for Pac to make business decisions on who he fights but no other fighter is allowed that same privilege?

And calling out Pac to move up two weight divisions isn't cherry picking by Martinez?
