Maybe there would be some weight behind what your saying if your weren't whoring yourself out to the Hylands. Dolphil dont have any shows coming up so how predictable it is for aule GreenJab to jump on the Hyland bandwagon. Why dont you keep your opinions to the Galway show yourself, rumour has it your upset that Davd Walshe got the prime spot with that promotion. FYI no one was slating the hylands show they were slating the bull**** WBF title which they are more than entitled to do.
Fighters can stay busy in the gym, why would they need to be keeping busy fighting bums, professional fighters fight for money and titles. In my opinion it is devaluing boxing, if fighters are being hoodwinked into fighting for nothing, what chance do they have of maintaining a position of power with the real promoters. I was informed by an Irish fighter last week he was asked recently if he would fight for a world title, he is now injured having fell of his chair laughing. I dont belive for one minute communism has arrived in Ireland, not a chance, it about control, power and ego and it will end in tears. Professional boxing is a profession and it deserves respect, it requires folk who have a deep knowledge of the sport and from the documents and promotional pieces being released by the IPBA Im not confident that Irish boxing is in safe hands. What boxing needs is professional promoters and professional bodies to support fighters and leave the promoting to the promoters. The fact is that unless fight fans get out and support shows, boxing will never be a viable career for most of the Irish lads. Dolphil promotions ran two shows late last year and by the numbers who attended it seems most of the online experts remained behind their computer screens and waited for tweets from the real boxing fans. :happy
The reason I dont like sites like this is because cowards like yourself who never set foot inside a ring or would understand what it takes to step through the ropes can pretend to be boxing experts. Its a pitty you didnt come to the press conference today and express your feelings regarding the WBF title, regarding whoring myself to the Hylands, ha ha, I have done work for Dolphil and now the Hylands, I get paid for the work I do and the reason I get involved is firstly I am accepted within boxing circles because I boxed, spent my teenage years in Dublin boxing clubs and most importantly I use the opportunity to promote my website. A finally what primespot are you talking about, I am interested in writing and multimedia in regards to boxing and I cant understand how then I could be upset with anything regarding David Walshe.
Ha Ha well I would quicker put my life in the hands of a two times European medalist then your prime spot clincher :rofl

People are entitled to their opinions, whether or not they have boxed. This is a forum, and although I don't agree with a lot that's being voiced here about the Hyland show, if a poster on here has any misgivings about the event then he shold speak up about it.
stay buzy fight have you never heard of that? a couple of examples would be pajo vs deaken after the fight with your cousin hopkins fighting Ornelas after the palvik fight whos being hoodwinked? the fighters are all told and know the risks of it and if the real promoters put on a show mabye the wouldnt have 2 is that a early excuse for hyland pulling out so respect such as paying the champion on time and not having the world champions promoter having to fly someone to miami 3 days l;ater with the money?respect like playing the correct music for the world champion on his ringwalk?/ and when did u get your promoters license
Jaysus GreenJab you do yourself no favours. Sites like this are full of cowards who never box so they aren't entitled to an opinion???? I tell you what see how many people go to any show if it's only fighters or ex fighters that are entitled to an opinion on the game. You'd have 100 people at most shows. That goes for any sport. Do you have to have played international football to comment on the Ireland team? Do you have to have played provincial Rubgy to comment on the Magners League Final? Of course not. Boxing is no different. It's made up of fans of differing backgrounds and interests and would die on it's arse within a fortnight (especially in Ireland) if it wasn't for people who don't partake in the sport still supporting it. You boxed when you were younger. Well done. Bula bus. You're accepted withing boxing circles because of it? Fantastic I hope you get great enjoyment out of what you percieve as some kind of elitism within the sport and those who follow it here. If 'sites like this' bother you so much then why bother your bollocks coming on here? Do you think all your talk of boxing when you were younger and being accpeted in boxing circles impresses anyone here? Honestly fella we couldn't give a ****ing monkeys. There's no ranking system in here for peoples opinion. Just because someone boxes white collar, amateur or whatever that doesn't mean we all value his opinion more. This place is full of boxing fans who are entitled to their own opinions and get along fine 99% of the time even if we wildly differ on how we feel about things. Coming on here calling lads like Slappy who do a lot to promote Irish boxing 'cowards' just makes you look stupid. As for the card itself the bouts look interesting and the tickets are well priced. However the WBF is a complete shithouse belt. You'd get better yokes in a box of cornflakes. It's the performance that counts not the pound shop fake WWF belt he gets afterwards. It's about as meaningful as the IBC belt that Dunne won when he banjoed Hughes a few years back. I really don't see how anyone can take the WBF seriously. As for Eddie Hyland moving up to Light Middle? WTF? That'll be an interesting one to see. Space Invader titles :rofl:rofl:rofl
Respect such as paying the champion on time and not having the world champions promoter having to fly someone to miami 3 days l;ater with the money. Can I quote ye on the Mush and its not my fault if someone cant put money through the bank, tell them who ever they are that bank drafts are a lot cheaper then flying to Miami. Either way if I was you I would be careful about printing your hear say on here, could get you into all sorts of bother. and when did u get your promoters license[/QUOTE] I dont pretend to be a promoter, dont know where ye got that from, but it seems to be the time of the pretenders, Pretend promoters, pretend Journalists :hi:
Cowards what you a hard man cause you boxed a few years :tong. I've done plenty of boxing and everyone is entitled to say how they see it. I was at a hyland show before where patrick fought this guy http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=351718&cat=boxer he couldn't hold his hands up and guess what his facebook page a while ago said he's pizza hut delivery man. This matchmaking wont help anyone fill a few seats when ya see this sort of thing going on. The titles are a complete joke at this stage and it only to fool the people you giving out about, the guys who ain't boxed. One question how much are the sanctioning fees?. Just never go onto boards boxing to hear what our lovely friend walshb has to say or you know all about negative comments to Dublin/Irish Boxers. The lads on here ain't that bad and have alot more knowledge about the game than some coaches and people involved in many boxing clubs around Ireland.
