Yer way off the mark here Sharpey! You're embarrassing yourself and alienating long time posters on here that care about Irish boxing. Not exactly the way to cover yourself in glory on the first day of ESBing.

As for the Hyland show or the Hylands - no one is having a pop at them, far from it.

I find it interesting that you feel the need to defend the Hyland Promotion by pointing the finger at the Galway show, it is a shakey defence from the offset. There is no need to be slating the Galway show and you are actually a little out of order for it as well. If I was go to one of the shows it would be the Hyland show, the Spike-Long fight is enough to tempt me to go alone and the Fitzpatrick-Healy fight is also better than anything on the bill in Galway then adding Timsy and the Hylands - and its cheaper. No brianer - the Hyland show wins hands down.

But the people behind, and the reason for, the Galway bill is 100% genuine. Getting fighters fights at a time when no one is putting on bills. Commendable in my book. But like London buses - three come along at the same time. I wish all the bills well and I hope they all sell out and make a **** load of cash for the fighter.

The guys on the Galway bill aint fighting for free. As I understand it they will earn a % of the profit (if there is any) and therefore could potentially earn a lot more money then the guys on the Hyland bill if it turns out well. Only time will tell, but there wont be a second one if it is a flop.

Like I have said, if I was in Ireland I would go to the Hyland bill. The issue was the title that Pajo is fighting for. Its not the first time this stunt has been pulled and it wont be the last but that doesnt mean we have to like it. The fight that Pajo has is a good one, better than I anticipated actually and I look forward to seeing how he gets on. But the belt is a ****ing fraud and a joke and an embarrassment and a disgrace and a............you get the picture.

The sanctioning fee could have been better spent elsewhere. Why fill the pockets on some greedy **** that has dug the WBF title up from its septic grave? Why? I think we both know the answer to that.

I hate these shitey bull**** fraudulent titles, you say that fighting in a coop devalues boxing! Well fighting for bull**** titles is the biggest cancer in boxing in my opinion.

I totally agree with you and thats why "MY OPINION" is that I have CERTAIN MISGIVINGS about certain people who would run for a air freshener if they stepped foot inside a boxing club and I believe they shouldn't be so arrogant about dishing fighters who look to move forward in any giving way.

Just a question how many people on here live outside Dublin, I think there is a anti Dublin undercurrent here, some evidence that would lead me to think this was the comment Mush made a couple of min ago about people not getting paid. That is total slander and not one person on here said a thing, prob because its a Dublin Promoter, secondly it is the fundamental principle of the Galway show that I disagree with, it in my opinion is the wrong way for boxing in Ireland to go. In one hand we ridicule shows that are not competitive enough, then on the other hand its fine to dish up prob one of the most uncompetitive bills this country has ever seen.

Boxing is not working in Ireland because not enough people attend shows, simple and unless that changes we will have to wait till another "Dublin" based fighter breaks into world title contention.

Some of the things I threatend to do to Frampton on here are illegal even in Deliverance County, USA. Nobody got upset about it. This is internet land. As long people don't start the serious personal abuse then it's all fair game.

There's going to be plenty of banter, pissing taking, wild opinions and stuff you don't agree with. If you're going to get the hump everytime someone doesn't kiss the arse of someone you happen to know then you'd be better served giving this thread a miss.
