Martinez Talking Mean **** About PACQUIAO, Mayweather would Last, PAC KTFO COLD!

almost nobody gave pac a chance vs oscar, I kind of doubt it, that would be like after a fight at 140 guerrero moves up to 154 to fight martinez, nobody would give him a chance, and with pac it was even more extreme then that.

 

Sergio Martinez is a very classy boxer but I think he needs to give Pacman a bit more credit. Considering how small his frame is and how he's come up from 108 pounds, Manny is legitimately the p4p no1. Why should he fight Sergio who is massive in comparison?

If Sergio wants to prove himself as p4p no1, he should surely be looking at fighters his own size and bigger - like Ward and Bute for a start. Pacman hasn't *always* faced the very best opposition but he's done pretty damn well.

And yes, Mayweather would have a better shot at defeating Martinez than Pacquiao - given his superior defensive ability - but I still think he'd lose a decision to Maravilla. Pacman may indeed be KO'd against Sergio but it's an unfair comparison IMO.

Sergio has put on great performances recently but his criticism of Manny is disappointing.

 

Pirog known or unknown, young or old is a major title holder and as such makes a fight with him a sanctioned unification bout. This is contrary to fighting a lower division fighter who is not ranked in the MW division.

Martinez fought Williams and Pavlik in his two fights previous to Dzinziruk - and Williams is a guy who Pacroid wouldn't go anywhere near @ 147lbs.

Who has Pacroid fought lately?

 

He fought and dominated Margarito who KOed Sergio's ***** ass

He fought Mosley who was a recent champion at WW
He fought Clottey who was a recent champion at WW
He fought Cotto who was champion at WW, and who Sergio seems to think is a quality opponent for him as a middleweight
He fought Hatton who was lineal champion at JrWW

Sergio fought (and lost once to) Paul Williams who has never even contended for a MW title
Sergio fought Dzinziruk who has never even fought at MW
Sergio fought Pavlik who was lineal champion at MW
Sergio fought (and drew with ) Kermit Cintron who also had to come up a division

 

yeah, I do think Martinez is better now for whatever reason though. the thing is, people blow tune up calibre fighters all the time. Pac has had nothing but hall of famer and champion after hall of famer and champion, and you know at least one or two of those guys were going to be UP to fight the best in the world. These are not tune up calibre guys, and they had a real challenge in front of them and something to prove, so they are going to be their best.

Pac has honestly had tougher fights against Larios and Solis than these top rated guys because he doesn't underestimate them - his preparation is good. Anybody else who beat all these guys regardless of circumstances would have flubbed and suddenly faced a close to prime version that, if he sucked, would have kicked his butt. A fighter doesn't go from hall of fame to bum after one bad performance, just ask Davey Moore or Barkley. (or virgil hill)

Even if Pac cherry picks it WOULD have backfired by now with these quality names on his resume unless he wasn't the best.

The Margarito Pacroid fought was WAY past his expiration date.

 

Who in the 154 division would easily dominate the margarito that fought pac? williams doesnt count because he is at 160.
Dzinziruk? alvarez? cotto again? margarito would give all of them hell, pac made it look easy, I think that fight is underrated because it didnt look good on paper. with that said sergio would school margarito at this point, he was still developing when he lost to him.
And margarito was actually pretty good before he good caught with bricks. he has some very good wins.

Pacquiao has the best resume in the sport currently, has won more lineal championships than anybody in boxing history, is cleaning out the ****ing WW division and people are still criticizing his opponents

Cause theres a lot more money fighting those welterweights..Plus Cotto,Sturm dont want none... Mw sucks anyways, Pacquiao and Mayweather provide tougher and more intresting challenges than the rest of the mws.

 

Martinez is a blown up jr.middleweight he aint as big as people make him seem

& Floyd should just fight Martinez, get the legit middleweight crown & retire for good becuz Manny aint never gonna take tht test
