I asked him on facebook on how he will deal with Amir if the fight comes off. He said it'd be 'like Rosie O'Donnell at a bisexual Bridal shower'. One guy even asked him why he deserved a shot, Eli 'Liked' and said 'I'm the best mayne, I deed it'.

Anyway this was not a rematch order something which is reqested after the fight by the losing side in a close fight, I agree Khan could of been stopped as he took a real beating in the 10th and a different ref might of stopped it.

I don't mind a rematch but I am just making the point about the WBA rules they are weird.

 

What I don't get is how as interim champion you rightly get a shot at the 'regular' champion, you lose to him, and then you're fighting for the 'interim' title again in your next fight. It's like you're permanently fighting in eliminators. :huh

You become Super Champion if there's someone in the division that sells tickets and/or has a TV deal and doesn't hold a title at the time.

It's bollocks really.

To be honest it wouldn't be so bad if fighters were signed to an organisation, just like dart players are with the PDC or BDO, and they hold special matches now and again.

As it is, you've **** all chance of being the sole WBA champion. As bad as the others are, at least you know who the top dog is.

 

I remember after Khan beat Maidana they were taking or thinking about making Khan the Super Champion and give him a new belt like the one Ward has I think, don't know what happened.

 

Surely Khan should be one then. I think when they first brought it in it was meant to be just for unified champions. They've since decided to just do it whenever they fancy (See Cotto).

 

Cheers guys for trying to clear that up, seems like all bull **** to me, WBA don't know what's going on.
