Looks like hes wearing some big 18oz gloves, and still has good speed! Only thing! looks like his dad is doing all the work on the pads other then Calzaghe

Arm punches and not to mention his trainer slaps the pad forward also.

Man I hate that Roy Jones Jr didn't fight Calzaghe earlier in his career when they were both in their primes.

**** off. RJJ was standing straight throwing punches Calzaghe was trowing them with his body! There's a world of difference.

Calzaghe was a ****ing mutant. One of the greatest ever no debate.

I hate how his dad slams those big pads against his hands. I have had bad experience with that. ****et my wrist up real good.

Mayweathers pad work is more scripted and for show rather than training.
    Meaning it's entirely muscle memory.

They do the same exact routine every time, eventually he doesn't even have to look at the pad anymore because he knows the routine.

That is not an indication of actual speed. If you do the same movement over and over for years you'll look really fast too. If you play the same song on the piano for 4-5 years straight you'll sound like a concert pianist too. But to truly be good on the pads is to have the guy calling out punches and you meet them.

This is what you see Calzaghe, Roy Jones and Pacquiao doing. These punches actually would work in a boxing match while Floyds pad work is just to show off for the camera.
