Fair point. Pacman was impressive in the 2nd Marquez fight and did fight a very disciplined and yet still aggressive fight. I genuinely felt Marquez was worth a draw against Manny that night but it was a great fight and a fascinating stylistic matchup.
That would be very sweet!!!! Losing by disqualification after putting your opponent 3 times is not bad at all. You have a loss in your record but so what!!! You would not have this discussion of Pac being "schooled" in the first fight but instead we could be talking about how JMM would have been slaughtered in a fantasy scenario if there was a second round. It is not like the Hoya fight where he held the rope. His legs were forward while his body is in backward position. If he did not hold on to the rope, he would have fallen down. I am not saying he got stung or anything, because a KD is just a KD, you won't even need to be hurt. But that rope allowed him to remain upright after a punch was connected. Try to assume his body position and say if you won't fall down without anything to hold on.
