He said Quillin was a supermiddleweight, I said he wanted to fight at middlweight. He was wrong, as to why he ran away from this thread. I've have no delusions about Quillin right now. He's a work in progress.
rofl Sorry, no, I don't remember exactly how I scored every round. I've seen the fight a few times but I'm not obsessed with it. Are you Andre Dirrell?
Oh, I thought you meant about the hitting. Mistaking the weight class is hardly a sin, besides, theres already been talk of Quillin fighting Bute based on his win over Brinkley.
You would have to be terribly biased to say Froch won that fight . He was ineffective the whole night , and barely landed anything significant . For some reason Everyone likes to say Dirrell didnt do enough , and was negative through out the whole fight . My question to them would be "Dirrell didnt do enough,so what exactly did Froch do ?" the majority of Froch punches hit nothing but air . Dirrell simply outclassed him, made him look amateurish which frustrated Froch and made him resort to dirty tactics with the constant punches behind the head and even slamming Dirrell at one point . Yet Dirrell is the one that gets a point taken away from , and everyone is calling him the negative one supposably . Andre outboxed , even stunned Froch ,Yet he calls him "Weak" . THIS FIGHT WAS 1OO% ROBBERY .
Here's where you cop out because you cant pose an argument. I can see you are a newbie. If you want to try and debate around here, I suggest you start analyzing fights in greater detail and be able to discuss fights on a round to round basis. There are many fights around here that are considered robberies, people arent going to take you seriously unless you are able to produce a scorecard or atleast recall rounds which you obviously cant do here.
You know, watching that 5th round again- I don't think that was a clear round for Dirrell at all. That was a close round. Dirrell got hit with the jab repeatedly, the straight left to the body. I think Froch outlanded him if you watch closely. Again this is where aggression comes into play, which is all Froch especially in the few clinches. I think some of you listen to the commentary to closely.
Now you're just making a joke out yourself with no credibility. Before I could put it down to you not understanding boxing or being a noob, but saying the 5th round was close where Dirrell landed multiple clean combinations and Froch did nothing just makes you look dumb.
Nope friend, your first two sentences are the cop out. Nice try though. I declare myself the winner of this argument. This content is protected
Froch landed punches in the 5th. You're blind if you can't see that. Close round. Thats not a clear round at all.
Froch didnt land anything of note in the round. Dirrell kept swatting Froch's jabs out of the way. And thats pretty much the only thing Froch was willing to throw. The times he did try to throw power punches he was countered. As you can see in the first 1.50 of the fight, Dirrell counters Froch beautifully and laughs at him. He lands atleast 2 combinations to Froch's head. And the vast majority f the straight lefts landed were Dirrells. Sorry man you just dont know boxing. :good Are you British?
Dirrell got hit plenty. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Now post a video with a compilation of Froch's work in the fight. Atleast 3 minutes of it. There are currently 3 video's on the web showing Dirrell beating Froch. You should be able to make one 3 minute video. :good
Dirrell did too much of this- This content is protected and this- This content is protected "I ain't fightin', I'll throw some shots in the next round." and got hit with more of these than you seem to think- This content is protected
