I was thinking that, maybe a £20 premium box office. They would need a translator and not to speak over the corners though.

Yeh thats true, but surely a warning at the beginning of the show would suffice. We dont get voice over apologies in a film every time someone swears

Films are not live, it is known when the swearing is going to happen, and if it is that bad, it can and is edited. A boxing second is not really concerned about a TV microphone, so I think it is the responsibility of the broadcaster to apologize at that time in some instances.

And as mentioned it is possibly why commentators talk over some corners, that are perhaps known to use strong language.

Imagine missing 'No mas, No mas' because they cut to an add about the league 2 playoff final.....

Its scandalous, thats why I never buy PPV, I prefer to steal it...

I think that would of been unlikely as Duran did that during the round, not at the end of the round. ITV is probably the most likely to of lost that, with their record of accidentally sticking on adverts, at important moments in Football matches...

Umm what do you expect guys? It makes them more money and doesn't really lose them many buyers.

Would I be more likely to buy pay per views if the fights were completely ad free? Maybe but they'd need a lot more buying it to cover the income from having a few ads.

America is different. Their pay per views are more expensive and advertising works differently over there.

Nothing can be done about it over here. A few complaints won't get anywhere but it is annoying for sure.

    Horse out.

Yes but Formula 1 was so **** you actually looked forward to the ad break. The most pointless 'sport' one could watch really, Darts players are finely tuned sport superstars compared to their F1 counterparts.

    moaned about this recently.

would prefer what the likes of HBO do, in the corner between rounds with a translator where necessary.

i wanna hear the corner and see the damage to each fighter, not buy a ****ing ford zetec focus sack of shite..........

i wouldnt care if in the build up or post fight if they put adverts on for 5 minutes, they put them on purely cos they know you are looking at the screen with interest.......

    shady ****s.

i think its about time someone with a love for boxing gazumped sky and the rest of the ****ers and bought all the rights to boxing and started their own channel purely for boxing and boxing only, no mma or other ****ing shite, the one and only place where you can watch fights would be on this channel....

im sick to the back teeth with sky.

    ****S.

im not having a go at what your saying mate, but do you have any idea how fit you have to be to be an f1 driver???:patsch

  12. It's ****ing annoying.

Also, when there's an English speaking trainer the commentators talk over him but they let us hear what a foreign trainer is saying with no bloody translator :fire

Yeah I know I didn't get that as well.

they boys have to extermely fit. I read somewhere that due to the G Force when they go round corners, organs in their body can sometimes move to the other side of the body

Can't see fat Phil Taylor or Big Barney coping with that for 70 laps!!

I'd rather have adverts than a list of other notable champions in this division from the past or Jim Watt repeating something wrong 15 times.

The principle of the thing is annoying, though. But then again, so is a british title fight being on PPV but what's the incentive for Sky to not do it? Mugs are still paying.

Thats the point. Mugs are still going to pay. I'll personally never pay for a PPV again due to the muggery from sky. Imagine, you pay 15 quid for the haye vs klitschko fight and there will be adds during the rounds. There are places to watch PPVs for free online. I watched on a stream and really enjoyed it. It was high quality.
