You get enough people round ordering the show at home may be the economical thing to do, especially as many pubs will charge for entry or have a minimum number of drinks you must order.

I just go to a sports bar. They usually show the fights there and you only have to pay the fee to get in. Usually the sports bar i go to charge $5 entrance fee.

As far as boxing PPV is concern i usually just go to a friends house and we pitch in for the fight or i just bring some beers or food.

I usually buy UFC and hardly ever buy boxing (especially since the scams that Top Rank and Golden Boy are about). UFC is more competitive from top to bottom and I feel I receive value for the money spent plus more friends want to watch MMA than boxing thus the cost is always shared.

Why wouldn't you buy a UFC pay per view? The shows tend to be better top-to-bottom than boxing's.

Fair enough. I always assumed you were a bigger MMA fan.

MMA extremely close second. UFC indifferent.

See I can understand disliking Dana White and wishing they weren't the dominant promotion, but how can you as a fan of the sport be indifferent towards the organisation where the majority (arugably the overwhelming majority) of the best fighters compete? What turns you off it so much?
