Even if Dirrell fought an overly cautious, spoiler fight it was still Dirrell being the ring general in pretty much every round. Don't really care what the press row thought, or the punchstats to be honest.

 

when your actions for the entire duration of the fight consist of either running for your life or clinching as if your life depended on it.....that's not ring generalship. That fight could perhaps be one of the best examples of what ring genralship isn't.

 

Froch beat Kessler and got robbed Kessler hardly connected + Froch actually got a knockdown but they didn't count it!

 

in between that round they show a slow motion replay and you clearly see that every single punch missed. froch fans...:rofl

I mean... That's what spoiler boxing is. Pastrano and Young and plenty of other all time greats backfoot boxed and clinched in trouble too. The point is they're still controlling the pace and flow of the fight. Dirrell SHOULD have thrown more leather. he was challenging a title on enemy territory. but that doesn't mean he didnt win.

Froch beat Dirrell, was the aggressor and outlanded him, you don't win fights by running.

Froch - Kessler was VERY close, you could make an argument for Froch winning personally i think Kessler just nicked it.

 

I know what spoiling is. there's a line and distinction between playing the role of a spoiler and fighting like a scared child that is about to be beaten by their father. Dirrell fought like his Father just caught him in his Sister's room with his hand in between her thighs.

 

Froch is correct. Consider this startling fact:

2. Multiply through by a

a² = ab

3. Subtract b²

a² - b² = ab - b²

4. Factor both sides

(a - b)(a + b) = b(a - b)

5. Divide out (a - b)

a + b = b

6. Observing that a = b

8. Divide by b

2 = 1

9. Subtract 1 from both sides

Therefore, Carl Froch's record of 27-1 is equivalent to 27-0, and as such he remains undefeated.

Well alright then. Even if Dirrell fought scared Froch still looked like a rank amateur resorting to ineffective fouling trying to put his pressure in. couldn't cut the ring, couldn't draw punches from Dirrell, etc.. And all against a novice!

 

But as demonstrated by algebra 2 = 1 and 1 = 0, therefore 2 = 0. So even if Carl Froch is 26-0, as you proclaim, he is still unbeaten.
