Wladimir Klitschko: His Top 10 Most Entertaining Winning Performances

After reading the awesome 'Boxing News' Special Edition for the Wlad-Haye Superfight, i have gained a lot of respect for Wlad as a boxer & a person. So i decided to create this postive topic for people to list his top 10 winning performances ranked in terms of how entertaining they were to watch. Obviously his bouts against Mercer, Peter I, Byrd II, Austin, Brewster II & Thompson are likely to feature amongst these lists. :bbb

Wlad is a good champion. Dominating in the weakest era ever. Big strong athletic, very powerfull. However, entertaining aint a word I will use in the same sentence with his name...

    This.

Would struggle to find a list of 2/3 that could be described as entertaining.

Not long now to the Wlad myth is blown to pieces and ESB becomes that bit quieter :smoke

His fights are weird, cause he can bore the pants of you, but end it brutally with a devastating KO.....Brock, Chambers.

I LIKE to watch the Klitschkos fight. Maybe I'm nuts, but I see in their skill and concentration the power to beat many of the all-time greats. Sure, they make the competition look bad. So did Joe Louis and his bum of the month club. When you have a truly great fighter dominating the HW division, he always makes his competition look bad. But, really, are Chaegaev, Chambers and Peter really any worse than most of the guys Louis fought? I don't think so.

Waldo is a 'Bore-Master General' like Jonny Ruiz - his ONLY 2 exciting fights are Sanders And Brewster 1 - like with Ruiz were his only 2 exciting fights are Tua And Haye. I would rather watch paint dry all day.

I find wlads fights before Manny Steward more entertaining, he used to go for the kill now it seems he has executed Stewards boxing style in a more robotic and boring way than Lennox Lewis. But i like his fight against Brock and Peter I.

  11. I actually like to see Wlad fight as well. Personally the only thing Wlad does wrong is outclass his opponents so thoroughly and so early in the fight that they suddenly become jab grabbers and track stars. The ones who didn't get KO'd early.

    My favorite Wlad fights are:
Peter I <-- Over all an entertaining scrap where they were both hurt
Brock <--- Facefirst KOs are awesome
Byrd II <--- Thorough domination with a great KO
    Peter II <--- ^^^
Brewster I and II <--loved that he brutalized him with the jab for 6 rounds in the 2nd fight
Chambers <--- Boring up until Chambers went directly into REM
Austin <-- Austin was like WTF LEFT HOOKZ?!

I think the Haye fight will be one of Wlad's most entertaining performances.

Manny Steward said this in the Boxing News special edition:

"The fight could be explosive early... I know Wladimir's emotions and what he feels about David and I think he'll be more aggressive than he normally is..."

If we were to be honest there is a very good chance Chagaev, Chambers and Peter would have all been considered amongst Louis's best 5 wins if they fought in his era.

Who would be Louis's best win anyway? maybe that big donkey Buddy Baer, who let's be honest is nothing more than a poor mans Ustinov.
