Adamek lost to Dawson in Feb of 2007, that's four years ago! His only loss. Since then he had some good fights at Cruiser, won a title and the Ring Belt and then moved to HW. He didn't fight the best but he did have some good fights and was very active. Given todays HW landscape and most contenders reluctancy to fight any other contenders, I say yes he does deserve his shot at Vitali. I would have liked to have seen him against another proven guy at HW only for his own sake but so be it. The fight is signed and on its way. At least Adamek comes in shape and is always ready/willing to fight, unlike so many other HW pretenders. You should be excited for this fight...

Once you lose you shouldnt be able to ever fight for a World title again....that is unless you are Margo and get caught cheating and then get your ass whooped.

 

You seriously don't consider that Dawson was unbeaten and highly motivated that
day and Adamek was weight drained ... like 40 lb below his current weight?

Adamek since that time improved significantly and Dawson declined,
what do you want to prove?

I guess you should consider Taylor to be ATG top 10, while Hopkins sucks ass ...
it is well known that Taylor beat Hopkins not even once but twice, right?

another one, I think also that it is a shame PAC is allowed to fight for belts ...
he was KO'ed twice and defeated by Morales (every body knows Morales sucks

I had Adamek winning the most of the earlier rounds. Through being the aggressor, and being busier. Grant looked too cautious near the beginning of the fight. But seemed too finish off stronger, by hurting him. Don't know if it was because of Adamek slowing down, or Grant gaining confidence. If it's were due to Grant being tentative. Then i don't give Adamek much chance of beating Vitali, because he's a 12 round fighter.....
