Keep up the good work!:good We'll be looking for you on HBO some day man! Keep this in mind....**** HATERS AND CONTINUE TO DO YOUR THING!!!
Just try to fight foreigners there in the UK. The judges will help you out. On a serious note: If we don't hear from you for a few weeks--Happy 21st Birthday to you!
thanks for all the positive messages guys it means alot to know people genuinly want to see you achieve and do well. Im trying to keep the momentum going ive stayed in shape after the fight last week because i may get a call this week or next week to step in at late notice so i hope something pops up and ill be ready!
Thank you mate i may need to put celebrations off if any fights pop up. My manager says i may have to fight round about that time hopefully before then i can move to 4-0 then celebrate my birthday, would be awesome! :bbb
Yes, do your best to win first, then celebrate. Of course, one could celebrate in ways that do not interfere with training... Any youtubes of you fighting?
Thanks. Viewed most of that. You look solid and quick. Not sure how they do things over there, maybe you were over-matched against the first guy? (I'm a Yank as you would say.) Is boxing full time 4 u, or do you need to work a regular job, or get other help?
Yeah mate i work full time & train full time its a bit of a killer i have to get up in the morning and run then head to work for 8 hours then i head from work straight to the gym, its brutal but nothing worth having comes easy huh? Its all worth it x10 everytime i get my hand raised i walk about with a smile for about a week. Yeah mate well when i boxed Thorpey he had already been in with about 15 future british, commonwealth or world champions including being a former sparring partner for Prince Naseem. At that stage in his career though he was just an expert in surviving and being paid against the up and comers. He retired last week :good Edit: and just realised he has a draw on his record with current British Light Welterweight Champion Ashley Theopane
congrats man , thats awesome wish you the best , i look foward to following your career :good ps , screw the haters on this site
That's nice. I am happy for you. At least from what I saw, it didn't look like either guy tagged you. That'd be 1 bit of advice I'd give you. The present joy should not stop you from thinking deep into your future.(Few do when very young.) In this light, I'd advise you to practice plenty of defense. Does anyone train with sessions of pure defense--slipping, blocking etc but not throwing back for the entire session? So try playing Pernell Whitaker for a few rounds often in your training. Just defense. Your brain will thank you in years to come.
