Totally agree-present day I can't think of anyone getting so many knocks back.

Looking back I think Colin McMillan & Dean Francis were underrated but due to injuries.

McMillan was hyped to the hilt, he was build as the second coming; Buchanan and Graham all rolled into one...

Francis too was hyped as a legitimate world class fighter, when he probably was not, pre White.

I take it you don't rate Lennox Lewis nor Mike Tyson then? :D

It wasn't the greatest of HW eras accepted, but I'd give him a more than decent chance against all today, baring the Klits. Chisora, Adamek, Arreola etc... Haye even... come on...

So in other words excatly the same chance he had in the 80s and 90s. Take out the top of the division, and he has a chance...

I disagree, Vit has only been back momentarily. I'd also give him a slight punchers chance with Wlad.

I think he may well beat Haye too.

As I said, as limited the competition may have been back then, it was better than the likes of Chisora, Adamek, and Arreola (and those are the HW names out there right now!!), in my humble opinion.

He started ok, but once Judah dropped him he went on the back foot, and didn't really engage at all for the rest of the fight. It really wasn't brave at all...

Tommy Farr - Took Joe Louis the distance (and may have beaten him)
Enzo Maccarinelli - Actually fantastic boxer IMO just very bad punch resistance
Miguel Mathews - Despite having 84 losses only 4 of them were KO's and he beat future world champ Scott Harrison and fought Naseem Hamed

    This.

The amount of imaginery match-ups where Bruno's "stiff jab" comes out on top are incredible.

Stirling's a good call. Won a Commonwealth title. Toured Australia a couple of times to defend against Tony Mundine who was no pushover, and did take Stirling's title in their second bout.
