It would be a good fight. No schooling either way. Like him or not, flaming hater or not, you have to admit that he has a great blend of speed and strength and now, after years with Roach, pretty decent balance and footwork (at his best, that is) and can punch with both hands (not something he could always do). Whitaker had reflexes like no other, but to say that he blows Pac out of the water is too far. Great fighters with different styles from Pac (Morales, MAB etc) would have been schooled by Sweetpea. Not Pac though. He's quick enough to make a damned good fight.

I think sweet pea edges it out very SLIGHTLY. His counter punching skills is the best and it will be interesting to see how sweet pea reacts to the speed of pac.

Similar to a Pac-JMM fight. Pea had faster reflexes than JMM back in the day though, and more power. He'd beat an '04 era Pacquiao I think. 08/09 Pacquiao is 50-50.

atsch I hate this damn logic when it comes to sweet pea. Chavez's chin is way better than Pacquiao's and you're over here talking about Pernell making Pacquiao respect his power. You guys use this argument all the time. Just cut it out
