It ain't a great fight, but it's not that bad either.

I'd like to see Gavin pushed after Woodhouse though. Lauri would be a good opponent.

Dont personally think Gavin will learn anything from this fight.

Curtis as game as he is, and as comitted as he is, is not someone you will improve based on fighting.

curtis must know that people who are criticising the fight aren't criticising him. however he has to accept that him and gavin are in different stages in their career and this is a terrible fight on paper.

frankies last performance probably worried warren and he'll end up protecting him now. i thought by now he'd let him loose on the best in the country. curtis doesn't really crack the top 10 in the uk.

again, this isn't a slight on curtis but boxing should not be about the whole bull**** underdog rocky story. in fairness, apollo creed was a disgrace of a champion to fight rocky balboa. boxing should be about the best fighting the best at their level and that isn't happening. frankies level right now is english title minimum or british title maximum.

I also think it is a bad fight for Curtis, although lucrative he still needs to learn more and build up gradually. Fighting Gavin is too far above his level at this stage, even if Gavin fights a poor fight.

We can speculate and the result will be clear in the ring.

  14. Anyone listen to Curtis on Talksport this afternoon? Was a good interview - said there's a bit of a grudge with Frankie but he respect him for what he's achieved and he'll be coming to win. Had a bit of a dig at the Mutley performance as well

They also asked him about the differences in training for boxing and football and he said boxing is much, much harder. After his first two weeks in the gym he thought about packing it in cos of how difficult it was.
