Look at the guys Johnson has beaten in the last few years.

None of them are very good

Can't see this happening unless Froch walks onto a bomb. He may be limited in certain areas, but Froch is very good at finding his range and picking his shots (except when someone is running away of course). Look at how calm he was at the end of the Taylor fight. 30 seconds left and most fighters would have been wailing away on JT, but Carl picked his shots with great accuracy and was hitting Taylor very effectively at will. That final round made me sit up and take notice of him, he was so mega-composed under such pressure.

I see it much the same way. Froch isn't fast, but he has great timing. This and his pretty good range makes up for some of his shortcomings in the speed department.

Froch is one of the most underrated fighters of all-time. I see Froch wining this one by a wide margin.

And Johnson wasn't never a devastating puncher. Green was absolute ****. You can't base Johnson's KO credentials off that KO.

I don't know about stopping Froch I certainly thinks he has a great chance of beating Froch stylistically It could be a bad fight for Froch.

He's certainly not. He got his has on a green Pascal who would beat him now imo and in all honesty apart from the Abraham fight he could easily have lost his last 4 fights. That said though I hate to say it but he probably has enough to beat Johnson now. A prime Johnson would beat him though. Froch is a top 5 contender though.

I'd say he's been lucky, but also underrated as well. I see this as a dogfight. GJ will bring the pressure, and I think Froch will fight like he did in the Kessler fight. Keeping Johnson at jab's length. Looking forward to this scrap.

This will be nothing like the Abraham fight. The book is out on AA now, keep throwing leather and he can't get off, especially against someone with a reach advantage. That won't work against Johnson.

Well Johnson's fights against Dawson and Cloud were certainly top notch, stepped down and blasted out Allan Green. So, Johnson has credentials.

Still, the guy is after Hopkins's record, no way is Johnson prime. Inevitably reflexes slow down and stamina decreases. Johnson is the better pure boxer and he will make it a tough fight, its always a tough against the Road Warrior

I'd call it 60/40, but wouldn't mind if an upset occured. A couple of years ago, its probably Glen Johnson's fight.

If you think dawson has a better inside game than froch you are crazy.
Froch has a decent inside game loves to have a scrap on the inside and has a good uppercut.
