If Floyd retired today would you rank him above or below Marciano?

Chavez jr has more wins and is undefeated. Many other boxers had a longer 0 streak then floyd. Chavez sr. Would eventually lose due to more fights and better competion, which floyd has avoided from retiring twice so far

How in the hell can u compare Chavez Jr to Floyd? Floyd has accomplished more than Chavez Jr will ever dream of. 6 time champ in 5 divisions and remained undefeated. Beat 15 world champs. 18-0 in title fights, top 10 p4p for the entire decade, beat the number 1-3 ranked fighters in each division he fought in. 2 time fighter of the year. Come on now. I would rank Floyd higher personally. Marciano best wins are against fighters in their late 30s. I respect Marciano though.

Floyd fought better comp than Marciano. Also, people tend to forget Marciano was not that highly thought of when he was fighting or retired.

Undefeated doesnt mean jack sheet. There are guys with 5 losses who I have rated higher than both Marciano and Floyd.

Miles below. Literally a completely different level of legacy will be left behind.

Floyd is a 3 division champion and in two of those he failed to fight the highest ranked challengers, consistently. Freitas, casamayor, cotto, clottey, margo, williams.

    This isn't even close.

Joe Louis was finished when Marciano beat him. Giving Marciano credit for beating Joe Louis is similar to giving Kevin McBride credit for beating Mike Tyson.

If his name wasn't Floyd Mayweather Jr then above - but as it's Floyd - he don't make ATG top 100

    Hi hater.
