Why isnt Sergio Martinez being called a *****?

Who would you say the greatest middleweights in history are?

Let me throw some names out there: greb, monzon, hagler, burley, griffith, hopkins and many more. All fought the greatest welterweights of their time.

It's what middleweights do. Martinez fighting pac wouldn't be the first occasion and it won't be the last.

 

martinez-bute/ward/dawson/hopkins would also be good.

Martinez does weigh 170 on fight night.

 

pac has been at welter since dec 2008 only and that was roughly 2.5 years only. and all the time he is weighing 142-145 and be 148 on fight night. he has made it clear that 150 is his max weight and if sergio or anyone can make it, then they will have a fight. what is wrong with guys seeing their limit?

meanwhile floyd fought at full jr. middleweight limit before and had said that he wants to fight the martinez-williams winner. size-wise floyd can handle martinez more than pacquiao.

 

not a ***** but is very unrealistic. He can't make 150 and Pac can't make 154. simple as that. Floyd however is a different story.

I think they would be great and competitive fights and i dont think any of those guys would be bitches for callin out the MW champ even if he can still make 154. Especially if Sergio went up to 168 to grab a bogus belt against lesser comp then ran back to 160.

 

These so called pac fans are doing a shitty job imo. They probably said cotto would be too big for pac to defeat.

Pac has dominated the welterweight scene apart from ortiz. Every one of his victories has been against to 5 opposition.

He is clearly a level above the active welterweights. Naturally this calls for a new challenge. Martinez is that challenge.

I've stopped picking against pac so if he fights martinez i'm picking him to be victorious.

its just that martinez himself admitted pacman was too small and it wouldn't be a fair fight a few months ago. which is true, pacquiao is a small welterweight, you can't blame him for not going against the mw champ. add to that he's talking **** now and which is pretty uncharacterstic of him and makes him look like a bully picking on smaller guys.

when was the last time a mw champ chased and begged to fight a ww? its usually the other way around.

 

Full blown welter? What full blown welter shows up at the weigh in for his light middleweight fight weighing 144 on the scales and 148 on fight night? Marquez came into the ring against Katsidis at 145. Pac and Marquez are about the same size in height and weight. The difference is one stopped cutting weight and is overachieving in weight classes above him while the other continues to cut weight to stay in a lower weight class.

Please dont cry its kinda pathetic...Martinez has said he will fight cotto mayweather and pac at 154 . He said he would lose weight to fight them, his words not mine. For you to say that margarito couldnt be a full fledged middle weight is the only moronic thing said at all here.
