I highly doubt he stops Froch...I could see him probably out working him...Glen needs to be relentless...Keep applying pressure, cutting down the ring and throwing combinations to the body!
Don't mind Froch, really (bit of a loudmouth, but hey so are a lot of my favorites..) It would be more just about being ecstatic for the Road Warrior. Total Cinderella story if he made it to the finals as a replacement.
Yeah it would be gotta love Johnson. I picked Froch to win the Super 6 before it started and people laughed at me. With that said I now think if he wins and fights Ward he will lose a close decision.
I laughed at ya, but damn it did surprise me... However I aint writting Johnson off just yet, he was able to take those bombs from cloud, its going to be tuff for Froch here.
Me too. Same story, I said I favored Froch and people said I didn;t know boxing and Froch sucked so bad that he would be the first guy eliminated.
I really didn't think he took the shots from Cloud that well. That was as hurt as I've seen Johnson in... well.. when has Johnson been hurt? By Hopkins? Cloud was gassed by the halfway point and still had Johnson stumbling around the ring.
Johnson was hurt no doubt, But Cloud well the way I see it thats a big mother ****er so when you get hit by his shots your going to feel them, but at Johnsons age I was amazed that he was able to take those shots come back and put some hurt on cloud himself. Cloud won the fight but lets be real, Johnson made him work for it... and this is a much bigger man than the guys at super middle.. so I give Johnson a fair shot in this tourney...
People underrate Froch's boxing ability. He's got that whole 'Caveman warrior' reputation but he can actually box. He showed so against Abraham (I know it's Abraham but Froch's performance was still very impressive). I don't think Froch will be going to war against Johnson and will show some discipline. I think a few people will be impressed by how well he avoids those big overhand rights from Glencoffe. This fight's win-win for me though. I want Froch to win most because I like his attitude. His says some stupid **** but he's more than willing to put everything on the line to try and back it up. He'll fight anyone. If Johnson wins that will be EPIC! When I found out he'd beaten Green I was so chuffed for him. A true gent. How could anyone not like Johnson? Really looking forward to this one.
I think thats what will decide the fight. Can he avoid enough of them? I think so but its still a pick 'em fight. I only narrowly favour Froch.
Agreed with that. I think Froch can do it but it's by no means a certainty. I'm probably about 70-30 in favour of Froch.
