Why isn't Bute calling out Hopkins.

Yeah I find that odd (or maybe telling) as well. Hopkins called him out and Bute has not responded. Why? Surely Hopkins represents Bute's biggest payday yet and at the same time a chance to become a megastar in the US.

Bute won't fight Hopkins in the next months because he has a contract with Showtime and Hopkins signed with HBO.

Hopkins knows very well that his next fight is against Dawson and is just doing some name dropping to impress fans like you. Seems to be working.

Bute doesn't talk for nothing. He chose to clean the SMW division at a time where everybody thought Hopkins was too old. He had to wait but his time is coming.

I begin to think you are afraid to see Kessler fight Bute.

    Dont be.

My comment above was made as a regular hardcore BOXING fan. Bute could easily make a comment to at least show interest. No need to worry about network yet.

And yet when Interbox simply invites Kessler to Bute's last fight to casually discuss a possible fight, it has fans like you jizzing in your pants. Seems to be working.

Because Bute wants to stay at 168 for now and knows that if he fights Hopkins he will have to move up plus hes on Showtime and Hopkins is on HBO.

I think Bute will win against Hopkins or Dawson anyway with some thunderous body shots

:good :deal I thought Dawson would kill Diaconu and I rooted for Diaconu. Yeah Dawson won the fight, but it was a competitive one. Dawson is skilled but he is also just like Direll mentaly week. When he gets hit with something he is starting to loose it mentaly.

Baced on experience and last performance I see the Hopkins fight more appeling but I don't see it happend within the next year or so.

Butes route : Mendy, Kessler/Pavlik, Ward/Froch, Pascal, Hopkins or Hopkins , Pascal

Why shouldn't I be happy to see Bute finally in a big fight?

    Keep trolling.

Bute did use to be a LHW and won the NABF LHW title before moving down to SMW. At 6ft 1 and a half Bute would not look soft as someone on here wrote and should be able to carry the weight.
Bute does have some tough decisions as he has a title at SMW and possibly has a fight with Kessler at SMW.
A big problem that Bute probably has is that if he beats Hopkins, like Calzaghe did, everyone says Hopkins is old or shot, but if he loses to Hopkins it is a bad loss at a different weight division and he would lose a bit of credibility like Pavlik did when he moved up in weight to fight Hopkins
