Why isn't Bute calling out Hopkins.

Pavlik moved up 10 lbs.. Hopkins Would fight BUTE at 170. so whats the difference? 2 lbs? Hell BUTE might Feel better at 170 than dropping the extra 2.

I dont disagree that Bute could move up, but was noting as a neutral that Bute is in a bit of an odd situation, in that he has a title at SMW, may have a fight with Kessler, and that if he moves up, and Bute beats Hopkins, like Calzaghe did, everyone says Hopkins is old or shot, but if he loses to Hopkins it is a bad loss at a different weight division and he would lose a bit of credibility like Pavlik did when he moved up in weight to fight Hopkins.

Pavlik was never considered the same after losing to Hopkins and if Bute loses he will never be viewed the same. Its a gamble if he takes it. But on the same note if Bute beats Hopkins like Calzaghe did, everyone will say Hopkins is shot like they did when Calzaghe beat Hopkins, so its a bit of a lose, lose situation

 

No matter what its Bull****! People are always gonna run there mouths Win or Lose... Cant they just give credit when its due and say B-HOP is Gifted for 46 years old, and If he gets beat, Its because The person was better than him that day not because he is old! B-Hop Will know when its time to retire so Everyone needs to just Let him do his thing! If he wants a BUTE fight then So be it! We all no BUTE wouldn't move up 2lbs to fight!

 

And I feel B-Hop was robbed in the Cal fight!

 

A- its a weight above

B- he would get no credit

C- he doesnt get credit anyway

D- just gonna wait for the tourney winner

No you just want to believe Hopkins was. After Calzaghe had Hopkins hanging on and looking for timeout, everyone wanted Hopkins to retire, but then Hopkins had a good run after with wins over Pascal, Jones and Pavlik, and everyone then starts saying different.

Bute hasn't called anybody. It's not his style. He said that he wanted to fight the best of his division and was glad to finally sign with Showtime to fight the super 6 tournament. He wants the big fights and they are coming.

Hopkins is calling something impossible and Bute should answer to that?

If so its up to Bute, the fight could still happen but I think its lose, lose for Bute as if he loses its a big loss and if he wins everyone says Hopkins is shot
