Not the Golden Age of Boxing, that would be mid-1930s to late-1950s...

Golden Age of HWs 1970s, I think Holyfield fares well.

I watched Bowe-Holyfield 1 the other night. And I must admit, the skill level and variety on show by both fighters far exceeded that of Ali-Frazier 3. Infact, by quite a distance too.

    Holyfield would lose to Ali.

He would beat the rest from the 70s.

Survives an erly onslaught from Foreman to TKO him late or win by UD.

Wins a close UD or SD against Frazier.

I think Holyfield would do very well against all of them. I would favor him over all of them except Ali.

Foreman would have stopped him probably , maybe if Holyfield gets lucky , then he wins 1 decision in a trilogy between the 2.
Ali vs Holyfield IDK , have Ali ever faced a ram like Holyfield ?
Holyfield vs Frazier IDK again , could go either way.
I think Chuvalo would have given him a really tough fight , but as for the commercial business that boxing has always been , Holyfield would have been granted the decision.
Lyle vs Holyfield could have also gone either way , Lyle could box too , but I somehow prefer Holyfield to at least win 2 out of 3.
Jimmy Young could frustrate him and IDK again what the judges' flavor is.
Earnie Shavers may have won 1 out of 3 , losing at least 1 by stoppage.

Remember Bert Cooper , Bowe #1 , Bowe #3 , Qawi #1 , and even old Foreman and Holmes lasted 12 against Holyfield . And I only meant Holmes and Foreman regarding the lasting of 12.

Not only would he hold his own, but,if we're being honest here,I think we'd have to acknowledge that a fighter of Holyfield's class would simply be too much for any of the heavweights of the supposed "Golden Age".To beat a prime Evander Holyfield, you need to be,in the very least,a great fighter in your prime - and considering the only great fighter during that era was several years removed from his prime,I think it's fair to say that Holyfield would clear up shop.

This is true, although the first meeting between Holyfield and Bowe featured two great heavyweights at their absolute peak, while the third contest between Ali and Frazier featured a fat, bloated, out of shape, physically shot, almost a decade removed from his peak in Ali,and a declining,porky,one-dimensional,limited,never was great in Frazier.

Bowe was always a better fighter than Frazier, and Holyfield more versatile and diverse than Ali ever was,but it's probably not a fair comparison to make.

    Nonsense.

I'd say Foreman would bomb Holyfield out, Ali would decision him, and Frazier would have a great series with him, 50-50 fights IMO. I also think Norton and Quarry would give him a hard time, both pretty smart guys although I think i'd favor him over both.

Bowe is NOT better than Frazier.
