Pac fans, can you tell me why you don't want Manny to take blood tests?

He agreed to 3 blood tests.

I want him to take the test from the commission or governing body, not because Mayweather suspects something.

Like i stated before Pacman is taking the same exact test Floyd is taking. It's most likely a one shot deal for a grand prize of 50 million dollars. Fair across the boards.

If floyd is so desperate to change the rules he needs to retire and become a member of a boxing commission.

you are probably more worst trying to lump every poster to a set group of people or nationality coz they feel that floyd's testing is a cop-out. you don't even know that the one you are quoting is not a filipino.

and so much ignorance from your part. philippines have a high literacy rate and value education even if just elementary and high school. your hate for pacquiao has rubbed-on and brought you hate on pinoys.

    I agree. We're debating boxing.

It's idiotic to bring race/religion/nationality into it.

Has Pac actually said that he won't take the tests because the Commission doesn't mandate them?

Hey, I didn't say none of that matters. Just trying to get to the actual reasons. I don't think it is fair to Morales to forget that he (a past prime fighter) put on an amazing performance. Really just his display of chin was amazing.

I'm all for it! Since PAC has agreed to Floyd's "needs" we are now waiting to see what Floyd's NEW excuse will be to avoid having to fight Manny in the ring.

But I fully support PAC's stance on this situation based on the fact that he's showing the eagerness to PROVE he can beat Floyd...even if it takes bending over backwards and calling Floyd's Bluff on the testing in order to corner him.

If Floyd is REALLY telling the truth and he's PASSIONATE and COMMITTED to cleaning up boxing and wants to help see the whole OSDT movement through.....Why isn't he testing now?

TRUE Olympic testing that athletes have to undergo isn't some watered down version that has been conformed to meet Floyd's comfort zone...it's system is to test ALL year round for the MOST detailed and effective methods to catch those who cheat.

If Floyd is a "Man of Principles" and is so serious about finishing what he started, why not set the BAR? Set that standard that will hopefully be followed by HIS EXAMPLE?

Why didn't JP test? With or WITHOUT Nard agreeing..> If he too was so passionate and serious about stricter testing and ensuring that he is at least doing what is necessary to attempt to prove he's clean?

if there's no physical or physcological effects that they are concerned about, they should be doing these tests with or without the participation of their opponent? After all, they are claiming to be clean themselves anyway...just like PAC and nard have claimed.

That's the problem, Mayweather always demands that he even said he want a 100million purse for himself. Even Mayweather admitted that pacquiao agreed to the blood testing and he just doesn't have the urge ryt now..

Mayweather demands makes this fight impossible to make

    all i can say is

    MAN UP or SHUT UP

There's nothing wrong with what Floyd asked for. What's wrong are the accusations and presuppositions made by himself, certain members of his camp, and other respected figures in the sport.
Pac doesn't have to do anything beyond the norm, required by the commission. He's earned the right to not be inconvenienced in his preparations for a fight. That being said, I don't buy the blood test excuses as the reason for his loss in the Morales fight. Nor do I believe the excuses of bad socks, bad shoes, wrong gloves, etc. Bull****, IMO. These are insults to an ATG such as Morales.

Now...while Pac does not have to entertain Floyd's request for testing, to validate his career, I don't care for all the floundering, lies and excuses (from his camp) as to why this was not possible. It has caused my eyebrow to raise. A simple "NO" or even "**** YOU", would have made the most sense, IMO.

I'm for better testing in boxing. But, until that is a reality...Pac does not have to do anything other fighters aren't doing. However, if Floyd and he ever try to make this fight again, he will, most likely, have to do the same type of testing, Floyd and Shane did. And I, as a fan, don't have an issue with that, in order to make the fight we all want to see.

Good post...my thing with why PAC didn't go the route of telling Floyd to go "**** HIMSELF" or a simple "NO" was b/c he actaully WANTED the fight.

But at the end of the day I think anyone has the right to request additional testing but there's a way to do things and a way NOT to.

There's Nothing that Floyd had done that indicates he was TRYING to make the fight happen. From the accusations to the demands, it was all done in the most COUNTER productive way which SCREAMED "I'm looking for a way OUT".

Floyd just didnt' want to have to say the words.
