Who does Martinez have on his resume other than Wiliams?

    Nobody worthy to get him on any one's p4p list!


    Kelly Pavlik - alcoholic was there for the taking

    Kermit Cintron - this man has never been more than a C+ level boxer with questionable heart.

    That Ukranian guy - who nobody heard of before of or since. had a nice looking record versus nobodies and a paper WBO belt.




    Aside from the result from the rematch with Williams, the man is none other than: Carlos Quintana


    In a year or two Martinez will be nowhere to be found on anyone's p4p lists.

    Easily the best active resume between 154 and 160.

    Considering the timescale it is also easy to see why he's fighter of the year.

    Considering the context it puts pac fighting margo, mosley and jmm to shame.

    I never said the P-word. u did :hi:

    For the record I think either Mayweather or Pacquiao handle Martinez easily barring a puncher's chance by Sergio. Can't deny Sergio does have one punch KO power. That's not enough to put him as #3 or #4 on most people's p4p lists.


    What I'm saying is Sergio's resume is paper thin and has a lack of name fighters.

    Who does Donaire have on his resume. Another fighter who doesnt have a highly impressive resume yet based on skill level is at 3 on most p4p lists.
    I personally have him at 7.
    Martinez is at 2 since PBF has dropped due to inactivity.

    Like everyone with a brain has said. Bunema(decent fighter), PWX2(supposedly most feared) Favorite in both fights), Pavlik(lineal MW champ well on fight night was a LHW), Cintron(the puta has some skill and punch), Dzinzurik(154 champ

    Hasnt Martinez been the underdog in all but his last fight??

    I agree he is good and exciting to watch. But So many people have him ranked at p4p as #3 or #4.

    At the end of the day who has he fought?

    I'm not trying to troll, I'm just saying the man is a hype job.
