Why all of a sudden Ortiz became the next big thing!!!!!

He won against a crap Berto, but had to pick himself up from the canvas twice.

He lost to Maidana poorly, the only other notable name in his resume. The unretired past his prime Morales performed way way better than Ortiz.

And there is one fighter not named Pac who is willing to fight Gayweather - Amir Khan.

It's because of pac: hoya, cotto, clottey, margo, mosley - he's cleaned out the division and only berto was left standing. Since ortiz beat him ortiz is the only meaningful welterweight not named pac. They're the clear top two in the division, if floyd is scared of pac then ortiz is the next best thing.

Infact if floyd doesn't fight ortiz i'd love pac to unify assuming he gets past marquez

So all of a sudden Ortiz is the best at WW? atsch Ortiz got a good win against Berto and showed alot of heart thats about it. Berto was also questioned specially about his resume and Ortiz proved Berto wasn't all that great like his resume stated. Berto was just another decent fighter (and people here thougth Berto/Pac would of been a good fight) Ortiz is a decent fighter too but still has to prove himself more at WW that he can hang in that weight and keep on improving. Whoever Floyd or Pac fight at WW they will look like **** fights because Floyd and Pac are above EVERYONE at WW. So *****s please stop saying that Ortiz is a live opponent because Floyd will make it seem easy if he fights Ortiz and we all know it. Same thing goes for the *******s, anything short of Floyd/Pac, no fight is worth it for Pac because at WW no one is in the level of Pac so fights with Mosley, Marquez etc. will look like **** fights.
