I remember when friendster just came out, and the world was new to social networking sites.

I stole pics of some model chick (Masiumi Max I believe), made a fake profile, added a bunch of random people and my gullible friend.

I sent him a message, flirted for a bit, and we sent messages back and forth for about a week. I also forwarded all the messages to my friends.

I told him to meet me at some reggae concert which we were accompanying him, he excitedly agreed.

He started bragging about this "broad" he met on friendster, told us we'll all be jealous of him and we all played along.

We went to the concert and we all started enjoying the show, except my friend who was dressed extra spiffy and kept looking around for the girl we are all supposed to get jealous over.

The concert started winding down and he was looking pretty sad, my friend put his arm around him trying to console him and said "don't feel down, she did show up" and pulled out a printed picture of her profile pic with my handwriting all over it saying. "It was all a joke, don't beat me up." and we all started laughing.

He surprisingly took it well but never joined a social networking site till this day.
