    Round 3

Harris throws a very sloppy right hand (like a celebratory "Rocky just climbed the steps" right hand), missing Thompson's chin by a foot. Thompson drills him with short counters on the inside, and again Harris goes down. Up once more. Thompson gets inside and pesters him with the full arsenal, pushing jabs into his face and cracking his skull with right hooks coming in from the side and lefts coming up the middle. They clinch and spin, and Harris falls on his butt. Again Harris stalls and buys time as the ref encourages him to get up. Thompson lands a few more shots and it's OVER!

Worst part is that Maurice Harris finally worked down to a decent weight after years of being fat, and was on a good streak of wins.

:think I would think end of summer or early autumn maybe. Not too long after Klitschko-Haye, a couple of months after it at the most. That way, both combatants will be more or less equally fresh when they meet (maybe end of the year or start of next).

Thompson is 10-15 pounds too heavy, but skill-wise he's a top 10 heavyweight for sure. Knows how to use his reach and really accurate with his punch placement. I think he has the right formula to beat Chambers and I'd like to see him fight Vitali.

Tony the Tiger just called out his buddy Fast Eddie. (a mere formality, as they're now pitted against each other via the rankings)

"Eddie - I love ya like a brotha - but I told ya before. I'd kick my own brother's ass for this opportunity!" :bbb :ibutt

If Releford comes in determined to throw shots, this is a tougher test for Arreola than you would think. Kendrick can fight if he wants to.

    Just out of his element.

Thompson is underrated. Despite his speed (or lack thereof) he's actually still among the top half dozen or so heavyweights active.
