Hopkins story is better than any boxing movie

...from philly..... considered too old...fought tarver.. came to the ring to Frank sinatra..
appears outclassed...then shocks the world... goes to a decision...loses..people say he won and the younger guy should have done much better.

And the thing is, when this movie is made, you won't have to exagerate the story to make it seem amazing because the truth itself will be good enough. I just hope that when they do this movie, they do it right with an A class cast and director.

 

This is ironic coming from someone who's avatar has Tito, a guy known for lowblows and was caught using too much tape lol. Hopkins hasn't been dirty in all of his career just look at the Pavlik fight and if anything, many people foul. People love Ali but he fouled A LOT in his career but that doesn't take away the fact that he's great. Ever heard of Greb & Sandy Saddler?

could be great, his early life and first rise to dominace would be awesome,and should highlight his best wins and fights outside the ring with the ending being him becoming the oldest champion ever,which he should officially do vs pascal rematch.

ide love it if he beat pascal up and stopped him for the oldest champ accolade,then to go on and beat a cruiserweight for a title then retire!.

 

Edison Miranda's story should be made as well. Sure he's not a champ but for someone with his life story to make it to where he is today is incredible.
