Tight fight, rubbish fight because of one guy, nightmares to score, Froch got the nod. End of story really.

 

'didn't do enough to win', 'deserve the win' are normally phrases associated with people who haven't scored the fight. The difference between a draw (which you think is fair) and a win can be a punch.

Froch lost. 115-114 to Dirrell. **** happens though. He got the W which was hardly controversial.

 

It was a close fight. I had it 118-118 personally but it's understandable that judges wouldn't score so many even rounds.

True. Difference is those guys were genuinely robbed, Dirrell did himself no favours with his performance. At best, he edged it, hardly Sturm-Oscar territory IMO. From certain angles, and with the noise in the arena, it could've looked like Froch was bossing the fight. Honestly, I was there, and from where I was sitting, it appeared that way.

How different the fight appeared on TV when I got home

 

Boxing isnt a sport of numbers if you land 1 power punch in a fight and miss 1000 but that punch knocks your opponent out you WIN. Numbers can be helpful but they dont tell you the story of a fight.

The TS is a *****. there are bad decisions in boxing all the time this fight was far too close to call a robbery when there are some ridiculous decisions out there.
