Never seen this fight. This is the second of the two times they met. agramonte looks like a game mobile fighter and "live". This was no easy touch.

This is "old man" joe louis rather than the "brown bomber" of a younger vintage but he still looks like a solid contender here. In round 2 he proves he still has world class power.

    It's a great little fight.
I've seen it before but was looking out for it. Thanks. :good

Louis was way past his best, didn't have the speed and sharpness or his great finishing abilities, but was still a crunching puncher.

Looks like a middleweight fighting a heavyweight.

That is because Louis was actually a pretty big guy. A solidly built 6'2 215lb even at age 37. Agramonte at 5'11 188lb was actually much bigger than Harry Greb. Just imagine how little Harry Greb would look in the ring against a 37 year old Louis.

If agramonte looked small against joe louis just imagine how small omelio looked much later on against the modern sized cleveland big cat williams who omelio took the distance years later...

Clarence Henry`s second fight vs Agramonte was a good one, dropped the Cuban in the 2nd and 4th rounds for nine counts and it looked like he was dead on the canvas both times before getting back up did Omelio. Henry started tiring in the 7th round though and from then onwards Agramonte showed some impressive boxing ability and grit slugging it out with Henry in spurts before backing away, good combination puncher too was the Cuban.

Louis still had impressive power and some great body punching examples but Agramonte was tough, had heart and recuperative power, he also had good feet. Louis lost a bit of his hand speed and foot movement but was still dangerous though far from prime. That Louis would KO fighters like Chris Areola, Chambers,Thompson and most others but not sure he could take a stile today but with those body shots ( lost Art) and ring smarts he may be able to
