Why isn't Bute calling out Hopkins.

I'm sorry Bailey but it's imposible to make Showtime let Bute fight Hopkins now. They invested millions in their super 6. The tournament was going bad with all the injuries. Signing Bute and making him fight Kessler was the only way to really crown the SMW champion and saving their investment.

Hopkins fought Pascal 1 with Showtime and went to HBO for the rematch. Showtime won't let Bute fight Hopkins. Thinking otherwise is fantasy match making.

Anyway, you are just a trolling hater, I'm bored by your posts. I don't want to answer them anymore. :hi:

So easy for you to say that. That's just your opinion. Not all fighters can move up in weight without an adverse effect.

Bute has been quoted as recently as his last training camp saying he was worried about making 168 because he had put on muscle. He can move up.

If that's the case . . . then he should really move up. No argument on that.

It's not the case. Bute has been making weight easier for his last two fights - he's got a better fitness coach. Yeah, he's put on muscle, but weight-management is better.

Also, it would be crazy for him to move up now having waited for so long to fight the winner of the s6 and the other top fighters involved in the tourney.

Watch this space. Kessler in autumn and then the winner in Spring.

Bute will be moving up to light heavyweight after Ward whoops that ass.

Ward might not even be lucky enough to get the chance to fight Bute. He needs to win the final first.

That. Bute had absolutely no trouble to make weight. I haven't seen him so smiling at a weigh in. He could stay at SMW for a couple of years at least.

Some people don't want to understand that this is a question of bad timing for him. Going up for one fight and going down is not a smart move. Since all the super 6 fighters become available one at a time (Kessler first), he decided to stay at SMW. He COULD have gone to LHW. That was a possibility.

We all know that haters would have called him a ducker if he had gone up before facing the best SMW. Of course, none of them are honest enough to admit it.

You still dont get it! Bute is afraid that if he goes to LHW he wont be able to easily come back to 168. Doh!

Then why doesnt he just say that he'd spank Hokins if he would come down to 170 or 168? That should stop Hopkins in his tracks.

    Instead he chooses silence. Why?

He has a big fight with Kess lined up and probably thinks why risk looking like Pavlick did against a much older and bigger man.Im not a fan of Bute but I dont think he is wrong staying out of the way of Hopkins.Horrible old man could ruin a lot for him cos no way does Bute KO Bernard and Bernard is a better boxer.Cant see anything other than a points win for Hopkins.

All this talk that Bute can or cant adjust to LHW, remember
    This content is protected
Still, it is probably not all that simple as Bute has a title at SMW, and fighting Hopkins is a lose, lose situation as if Bute loses its a bad loss, and if he beats Hopkins like Calzaghe did, Hopkins nuthuggers say Hopkins is shot

Hopkind IS past it. Only ******ed dumbshits, Calzaghe fans, will claim he's not. Watch how he fought in his prime and come compare it with Hopkins now, Hopkins used to be clearly faster, insane stamina, throws in combinations..etc

If you think Calzaghe beat a prime Hopkins then you're just another *****, I haven't met a single mentally stable Calzaghe fan. Please go back to worshipping his wins over Kessler and Lacy, that's the best you can worship.
