You can't get PBF to box in a phonebooth---------no ways he gets into a MMA cage unless maybe its the size of the Yankee Stadium :smoke :smoke :smoke :smoke

He would make considerably less money fighting in MMA than he has in boxing, so i think it is very unlikely that he will do anythign other than help Cuban create a boxing PPV division of HDfights. I hope he doesn;t go to MMA, I am so not impressed with that sport and think it would be a huge step down for PBF and an unwlecome boost for MMA.

Remember the movie, "Requiem for a Heavyweight"? A retiring former heavyweight contender was forced to humiliate himself by becoming a professional wrestler. Now take an undefeated dominant boxing champion , a sure future Hall of Famer who decides to compete in MMA. What could he possibly add to his legacy, even if he is successful? And what if he loses ungloriously, having some jack of all martial arts sitting on his chest punching his face, like a back alley street fight?

    Will never happen.

He'll probably use his name to promote some fights but he'll never go to MMA. He's spent his life mastering the art of boxing, its insane to think at the age of 30 he's going to start another damaging combat sport and compete on a world level.

Plus he's just made probably 50 million dollars this year alone boxing. Wouldnt come close to that in MMA.

    This is just chinese whispers.

Parterning with Mark Cuban that could very well be a smart Financial move and Mark would come to Floyd unless he was able to make his time worth the money!

Of course MMA isn't on the level of Boxing and the money won't be as fruitful but MMA is growing and Growing FAST....Soon the money that TOP MMA fighters will be on level with Top Boxers. It make take a few years or maybe even longer, but they will PAY the Top MMA guys who lead this crusade the big money for their "NAME" and preformances.

Floyd would be the NAME of MMA if he decided to take it seriously. How he would do? Not sure but if given at least 6 months to a year to train with TOP MMA guys floyd has enough Talent in one pinky to be a dominant force over the world of MMA. He can learn the ground game, the different kind of Defense and we all know he has the best Stand up game the world of Fighting has to offer. Interesting.!:think

No way, Mayweather have been in boxing all his life and stayed healthy with a lot of money, he is 30 yrs. old why risk going to MMA (which is crap) to win less money and being with a sweaty man trying to hug you in the floor for like 8 mins. booooooring

I read it and laughed. There is no way Floyd will do that. He has become a master in drawing attention. No matter if it's good attention or bad attention he will get your attention.

    LOL good bump nonetheless.

Decent boxers will never jump over to MMA because there's no money to be had by comparison.
