Who ranks higher: Leonard or Duran?

I think Duran is great, but not the 1-5 ATG people say he is, which makes people upset. I still think he is great. And so is Hearns. But Leonard beat them both when he had to and he is greater than both, and that is hard for me to say since Hearns is my favorite fighter. But you cannot ignore facts. And when Hearns beat Duran, Duran was coming off a great year. He won the 154 point title and he went 15 with Marvin. He was not a finished fighter, and he was still champion at 154.. Hearns and Duran fighting was actually a unification fight, until the WBA stripped Duran for not fighting McCallum.

 

it is not just about Leonard being greater than just Duran. Leonard is greater than Hearns,Hagler and Duran and Benitez. He beat them all and beat more greats in thier prime than they did. That should be the criteria. Hearns has some great wins also, Cuevas,Benitez,Virgil Hill and Duran, but his losses in his prime to Leonard and Hagler seem to hurt him more than those great wins.

 

I never said he was a finished fighter, I said he was still a good fighter at least. I never said anything about him being 1-5 all time either. Although I do think he might be in terms of h2h in his prime. But I never said he was for greatness. So I don't understand why you are jumping the gun.

Duran doesn't have the great wins Ray did so Ray is greater and Hearns had some great wins but was knocked out by Leonard and Hagler not so great for your ATG ranking!!!!!!! Duran lacks great wins but his career was long and you Gotta love Hagler and Benitez!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I think a piece of information that may help to put the loss more into perspective, to more accuratley gauge his resume, are measurements of the poo in question.

"Plus grand le poo, mieux l'excuse" as they say in en France. The bigger the poo, the better the excuse.

And also, relative to poo expectancy, what condition it was in. Was it a green poo? A rotting past prime poo?

What was the style of the poo? Styles make poo's when it comes to assholes. A runny poo would need to come sooner rather than later. A solid poo would restrict movement..

So many ifs and butts that modern revisionism just cannot get to the bottom of. We need the first hand knowledge of someone who was right there all up in it, face to face, had contact with it, caressed it with thier tongue...
