Releford was in the fight for the first round. I actually think I scored the first for Releford...

 

Releford fought a nice effort was on his toes had a crisp jab that had some snap to it

he was clearly experienced and could be a good fight for anybody outside the top 10

 

I like CW a lot more.

 

i heard somewhere that o'neil bell was coming back... any idea what weight he's coming back as?

 

I know it's a weak era but still nothing like 2 massive guys with power winging hayemakers at each other. Anyone can get KO'd when 2 big powerful heavy's go at it. Another thing that keeps me watching is that a top heavyweight will destroy any fighter in any other division regardless of how much more skilled they are and can basically beat the **** out of anyone in the world. They literrally are the biggest and baddest men on earth which still keeps me interested even if this era is pathetic.

i thought he would have beat mormeck in the rematch without open scoring

it was a close battle and then after 8 mormeck realized he could run and win

if he didnt know he was that ahead he would have stood and traded more and bell may have had a big late ko like fight one

 

despise it, very low skill level. Even the chumps Tyson was KOing in 0.25 rounds were in better shape than these top 10 guys. The Klithschko brothers are both great, but a fight between them can't be made for obvious reasons. Very noncompelling era, but I wish they would televise all the title fights in the states, its criminal that Klitschkos are not even on TV.

I don't like the Cruisers either, just a bit too slow and deliberate. Love watching 115-160 lbs though, and occasionally recognize some super talented light heavies. These big guys are generally not coordinated, not athletic, in the way prime tyson, holyfield, ali, frazier, etc etc all seemed to be. Adamek and Haye would not belong in the division with stronger competition, but their high skill is more than evening it out.

sometimes I watch how slow guys like McBride fight and in my heart I think, floyd could flawless victory this guy - not ONE punch would ever land in a million years. that's not how its supposed to be.

 

Would be a crime to judge heavyweights based on how it is now.

 

there's not much quality depth in the division, but there's still entertaining fights out there.

Most people who have a problem with the heavyweights are little 135 lb bags of fly **** with persecution complexes.
