Don't think moving down will do him any good. He ain't small and boiling down to 154 won't help his stamina either. Should take a handy come back fight and then take on Murray.

Prince Arron would be a good opponent for 154.

I don't think it's a bad idea to not watch his recent fights..... if he'd seen them already fair enough.

Perhaps Billy doesn't want to get any pre-conceived ideas as to where McEwan is at just by looking at footage and prefers to see him at first hand in the gym and in a couple of low key fights.

No doubt they'll look at recent footage together at some stage when they look to establish their plans.

Having watch craig man and boy for years there nothing wrong with craig,s ability and also his fitness was ok for the lee bout it was purely a case of on the night andy lee was the better boy. now with regards craig punching power he has not got a knock out punch but can hit with every shot in the book with great accurracy now i also think him joining billy will do him good but I cant every see him making middleweight again as he could,nt do it in LA now I believe he can make titles his with the world title his aim and a very good chance of it happening

There's more lucrative opportunitys for him there anyways. Even in Britain theres a lot of big fights for him against decent contenders, from Barker to Macklin and Murray or maybe even a Lee rematch at some stage.

yip even at European and fringe world level there are some good fights.

Dominik Brtisch, Proksa and Khurtsidze all solid tests.

Sorry for hijacking thread but can you explain/justify what the hell burns is doing in the ring with cook? A fighter that was ko'd by martinez and has substance problems. Unreal! Don't come saying 'Ricky just fights who's in front of him' cos you could have turned the fight down. Looks like another paper champ holding a strap to ransom. No insult intended but I'm sick of this **** now, its killing the sport for gods same.
