He came in at 148 the last time he fought at welterweight. What about this time? Discuss.

he weighed around 145 in his last fight, so probably around there. If he's smart he won't try to bulk too much and just maintain his weight.

He'll weigh whatever he normally weighs.

People are making this weight issue out to be more than it is. Pacquiao and JMM are of relatively similar size, and this 144 catchweight is not gonna benefit any guy more than the other. It'll be almost identical to the last time they fought, with Pacquiao weighing a couple of pounds extra on fight night. JMM won't be bulking up or anything like that. He'll come in as his usual self at a weight he'll be comfortable at.

    my weight prediction:

    JMM
    -weigh in: 139
    -fight night: 144.8

    Pac
    -weigh in: 142.5
    -fight night: 147.5

Pac will honor the contracted weight.. just sayin

A wild guess . . . but I think JMM ought to come in lighter with his speed intact. 143 at fight night would be good.

    Oh, you try too hard...

How does 144 not benefit Pacquiao, the guy who has fought four times above 140 to the guy who has fought only once above 140 and got shutout?

And no, last time they fought was at 130, so no, it will not be "almost identical to the last time they fought."

I hope for your own sake you don't believe anything you just said.

He is going to drink about two gallons of urine after the weigh in and be ready to go at 146

the only idgits making a deal of this are the *****s, cuz they need to hate on Pac for something. Even more so, considering their beloved god dont fight anymore lol. On the otherhand, its hard to knock a fighter who continues to fight on.

It gives Pacquiao a slight advantage, so this allows him to maintain his welterweight musculature on the official weigh-in. The good thing, there's no definitive disadvantage for Marquez. If he has said that the only difference between him and Pacquiao is 3 pounds, im gonna believe him.

Though they've been fighting at different weights, their frames are pretty dang close. Who knows if Pac plans to come in light or extra heavy, according to fight plan.

I'm talking about their fight night weights. Go and find out what those were and then come back to me. I'll be waiting for your apology.

I really want to see what he will do in July with Diaz. I think that one will be at 140 so lets see what he decides to do then we will know what he is planning on.

My ideal scenario is for the Diaz fight he weighs in at 138. Fight night 145.
Pac fight 141-142 and fight night about 147.

I want to see him work on his legs and get some muscle there. The upper body is fine where its at. Besides bulking up your upper body takes away speed and he needs what he has right now.
