There are countless threads here blaming one fighter or the other for failed negotations. There are many different rumors about steroids, blood tests, fear, money, etc. No one really knows the exact reason or reasons the fight isn't happening, well except for Manny and Floyd. Regardless of what fighter you are a fan of, or whom you believe would win, there is one thing that is clear. BOTH fighters are to blame for the fight not happening. If either fighter is so confident of beating the other, there is no reason not to strive to make the fight happen. The fact is that they both show signs of greed. Back in the golden age of boxing fighters fought for pride and to truly prove who was number 1. Both Floyd and Pac fail to show they are fighting for pride anymore. They both have enough money. Now it's just up to one of them to show who the real warrior is by trying everything to make the fight happen, regardless if it means conceding different things in negotations. Just remember they are BOTH equally to blame. We will see who finally mans up and concedes some terms in the negotations in order to make this fight happen and prove who is the actual pound for pound number 1.
I don't think Floyd is retired. If he was, it's easy to unretire, but I also blame every party involved. The point is moot now, but I'm still one thinking they know what's going to happen already.
See that highlighted part? Don't talk of negotiation. After a formal negotiation . . . there will be a contract where the test agreement can be included. But guess what . . . Mayflower doesn't want to get out of vacation so there can be a formal negotiation. So there's gonna be NO CONTRACT. That's the truth.
It's remarks like these that can easily identify who are the *******s, or the floyd nuthuggers. Either Pac can man up and take whatever test Floyd wants at whatever time and get the fight made or floyd can retract the whole testing thing and also get the fight made, but neither wants to succumb to the other's demands. When you really look at it, like I stated before, it shows lack of pride and confidence in both parties. If Pac actually wanted to prove his superiority, he could agree to all Mayweather's terms, because guess what if he did all that and still beat Floyd, it would look even better for him. The same exact thing can be said about Floyd. The fact is that they are both constantly asked about fighting eachother but neither ever has called out the other, or atleast publicly put the other under constant media pressure. They both have stated they don't need the other, but that is a delusional statement. They both need eachother to cement their legacy.
the truth is floyd doesnt want to fight. drug testing is a front , you can't blame pacquiao if one guy doesnt want to fight.
I'm a ******* for posting what makes sense? How can the asian midget agree to Mayflower's terms when everything is only in the media? Formal terms and conditions can only be discussed in a formal negotiation. How can this prosper when team Pac doesn't have anybody to negotiate with? You have to look at this objectively. There can never be a NEGOTIATION while Mayflower is on vacation. :deal
This isn't about truth. It's about the BS boxing "business". It's the "business" that sucks the life out of our favourite sport. If they were in the UFC, they would have fought two years ago. Not a post about what is a better sport, but a better organisation.
Like I said before, they are both to blame. If Floyd wants the tests, then Pac should just take them. Pac can take the tests and beat Floyd. It could also play out that Floyd mans up and retracts the whole testing requirement and he can go on to beat Pac. Either way someone has to man up and concede to the others demands just to prove they are legit warriors. They are both at a stage in their career where money isn't an issue, so why not fight for what's important. Legacy, Pride, and the fans.(the people who have made them all their money)
No, just think about it. Floyd is ducking Pac as of the moment. Pac agreed to the blood tests (osdt w/ no cut off) yet still he's got no one to negotiate with. All that's left to happen is Floyd to call Pac's bluff and come and negotiate since Pac agreed to the tests but sadly he's still nowhere to be found. You can't negotiate with someone who's not willing to fight.
Look everyone knows the media is a very powerful outlet. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather have access to it. Pacquiao has yet to call out Mayweather and establish that he is eager to fight him. They both should be eager to fight eachother, because of what that fight would mean to each of their careers. Neither is going the extra mile to make the fight happen.
Like what I said, everything is in the media. There's no formal negotiation therefore there can never be a contract where everything (including the testing) will be signed by either party. :deal
