Okay, Just a thought here for doubters who argue til they are blue in the face that Floyd Mayweather never wanted any part of Manny Pacquiao...

Take a look at the timing, when they started negotiating to make the fight happen.
if Floyd Mayweather Jr really wanted no part of Manny Pacquiao, why in the hell would he call Manny out after Manny had just stopped two common opponents of Floyds, Delahoya, who fought a close fight with Mayweather and Hatton who did give Mayweather a hard nights work...

Do you realize that Pacquiao nearly took Rickies head off, and that was one of the most Violent one shot knock outs any of us has seen..

So why would he think to start negotiating a fight, if I saw that **** I would get a restraining order against Manny Pacquiao, that ****ing knock out would have had me running for the hills, with Zero negotiations at all...

So how is it off of two of Mannys best performances Floyd trys to make the fight happen, yet doubters argue Floyd dont want no part of Manny?:huh

It's hard to say either guy didn't want the fight when at some point they had agreed on everything and were only 10 days apart. If either didn't want the fight, he would never have let negotiations get so close.

But I still feel that at the end of the day the topic that shot down the fight was the extra drug testing, and that is something Mayweather brought to the table, not Pac.

I genuinely believe that Floyd wanted to come out of retirement and fight Pacquiao BEFORE he saw what happened to Hatton. Remember he announced his fight with Marquez on the eve of the Hatton bout. Then Hatton and Cotto got absolutely ****ing steamrolled and the guy wanted no part of it, but needed to save face somehow. Hence the PED allegations. Pretty straightforward, actually.

Because *******s think Pac is ALLAH/GOD etc they don't understand that Floyd has move up the ranks and never got the praise that Pac is getting. So at first I think he thought I could beat this little guy easy but after Pac show he is better than he thought he may of thought wait a sec let me work this out with my team and see with what we can come up with to stall a little hence the drug test. Now I still think Floyd thinks he can beat Pac but he wants to make the most "MONEY" he can with this fight!!!

I thought that Floyd came out of retirement and called out Pacquiao AFTER Manny knocked out Hatton and DLH....:huh

its one thing to sit back be retired, watch Manny struggle in one fight then call him out...
But its an entirly differnt subject all together when your retired you watch Manny eat up two common oponents, and you ask for the fight, I mean that right that should indicate that Floyd was serious about making this fight happen...

Very simple answer . . . why don't Team Mayflower negotiate now that TR is working for that fight?

We cannot deny that there was a failed negotiation . . . revive it now . . . but with who?

Please. That ship has sailed. The peak for this fight to take place was almost two years and public interest has been waning ever since.

The fight did not fall apart over money though, Floyd agreed to an even split purse, there is something else that should show you he wanted the fight, Floyd always asks for the Lions share...

No, it was announced on the eve of the Hatton fight. So your original post is moot.

Yea true but I think they "both" feel "they" can even make more money fighting each other next year.

Not sure how many times I have to say it. Floyd announced his return BEFORE the Hatton fight. BEFORE.

    SO THIS

    IS A MOOT POINT.

Here's one thing that can't be denied, pacs all inconsistencies, from cut off days to his calorie intake, he can't make more than 144, but he trains heavy at 150 then comes in at one forty something..........his calorie intake base been stated at an outrageous 5ooo or something like that......you mean to tell me he take s in as much as jay cutler?
