The thing about Floyd is that hes a double edged sword. Not only is he very skilled, but similar like Rj hes so fast and always in shape he might get away with acouple of things without depending too much on techniques. Still, Floyd takes no risks whatsoever. Also, his opponents dont compare to the beasts Hopkins had to face so Floyd was never pushed as hard as Hopkins was, that is, with the exception of a prime Castillo. Hopkins doesnt have the slickness or athleticism of Floyd, but doesnt need to. Toney could be beat by a great jab, but he had a habit of making fighters like Nunn fight his fight at closer quarters where Toney was a force to behold. H2h prime Toney is the best, but technician a draw between Floyd and Bhops.

How many boxers have you seen fight Bernard's style?

That's why Hopkins trainer said Floyd is skilled AND has exceptional talent.

Care to share who has more technical skills than Grandpa Bernard? Since the thread starter doesn't know **** according to you, why don't you tell us what he can't tell us.

Obviously he's not going to put up Marquez, Ward, Nonito, emmanuel, etc. Most of them are just going to get a ridiculously low number of votes compared to Floyd and Bernard making them look bad.

I'm not sold on Ward just yet, I'll know more after the winner of the Froch/Johnson fight.

The poll results really surprise me. Floyd is not "technically skilled". He certainly is an amazing fighter but he is not a textbook, technical fighter. A leaping left hook is not textbook. A pull back counter right is not textbook and can only be executed by someone with amazing reflexes, which Floyd has.

Hopkins is a walking textbook. So is JMM.
