Because Floyd already has a pattern of avoiding serious competition even before Pac. Floyd has been a welterweight since 2005. In those 6 years, name the below welterweights/ex-welterweights that Floyd has fought.

    1. Shane Mosley
    2. Antonio Margarito
    3. Miguel Cotto
    4. Joshua Clottey
    5. Paul Williams

Floyd has fought just one, Shane Mosley. Part of it was due to a fake retirement when the division was at it's peak. For comparison, Pac has been a welterweight only since December 2008, 2 and a half years, and has already fought and beaten all but Paul Williams (add Oscar De La Hoya). Now you can add Manny Pacquiao to that list of welterweights above waiting for a fight with Floyd.

Wrong, thats the 24/7 build up for the fight, the rather feathery person is considered the current P4P, nice how they showed clips from both camps here looks like Manny is doing some serious road work.

yeah man it's sad. They called me out on a few things and I was able to provide links. They state something and I prove to them that they are plan out wrong and then just act like they never said what they said and pretend something else is the issue :-(

Floyd agreeing to 50/50 let me know he wanted the fight......anyone with half a brain and knew anything about Floyd and how he is and at the time still being a bigger draw than Pac.....the man agreed with no problem to 50/50.

Note if he wanted to keep the fight from happening all he had to do was outprice himself....in all actuality he did deserve the bigger share even if it was a little bit. He wanted the fight the first go around.

Lately though....im just not sure what he 's doing.

He is waiting out his court **** obviously, he and Roger havent had the greatest year so far.
I am sure once its done, if Manny hasnt grown a set, someone will and Floyd will take the next big fight... that is willing to test.

Floyd isn't scared of Pacquiao, Floyd simply has other things on his mind right now.

yeah almost everybody whop hates on Pac when asked why points to *******s. These overrate him and dismiss his crap so much that it makes people want to see Manny lose to shut them up.

I personally started disliking Pac because of the drug testing fiasco and then his fans just sealed the deal

I know I never thought Manny would refuse to test like that, I beleived he was clean he seems like an honest person but thats just in the gym who knows what he does in his personal.
However I will say this his actions raise eyebrows, and should not be ignored simply due to the fact that, That gym has produced some fighters who have tested postive for steroids, so you mix that with the out right refusal to test, and you have a solid case

Like I said, it's a pattern. Mosley's fight with Margarito was 16 months before his fight with Floyd, almost the same amount of time between Oscar's fight with Floyd and Pac. Floyd could have fought those guys on the list in 2007 when all 5 were on a hot streak, the same type of streak Pac is enjoying today. What was Floyd's action during these times? Retirement and vacation.
