the rating were not bad. I think it did 1.4 million on HBO which is solid rating, the fight location was crazy. it should have been in St louis or southen californnia, in st louis there would have sold out a indoor venue easy.

Thats what people said about Pacquiao. Thats what people said about Mayweather. And Hopkins.

Nobody thought Pacquiao would be where he is. Nobody thought Mayweather with his boring style and low KO percentage would get to be where he is. And nobody thought Hopkins would be where he is.

They each got big breaks. Pacquiao destroyed Barrera who destroyed Hamed.
Mayweather beat DLH. Hopkins beat Trinidad. Prior to these fights nobody knew who the hell they were.

If Bradley beats Khan people still wont know who the hell he is, but if he just fights Pacquiao and loses he will be a star.

If it did over a million views with Bradley in it that should show Bradley actually does have star quality. Over a million people tuned in.

In Arums recent statement on oscars apology he said that making fights with gbp might become a real option again, arum knows that if pac and cotto are gone, donaire will probably leave when his contract expires and he has little left, if he has bradley he needs gbp to make decent fights, also pac is running out of tr opponents.
I guess bradley should have kept his mouth shut on khan running because thats totally ridiculous considering the effort khan put in making this fight happen.
I believe bradley should unify 140 first before being worthy of fighting pac, so lets say he joins toprank next month, he can then fight a quick tune up and then khan/judah winner in november/december, if bradley wins then he is worthy of fighting pac, otherwise pacquiao should fight ortiz.

    What like Joshua Clottey?

Becoming undisputed Junior Welterweight Champion would be better for his career than taking a beat down by Pacquiao. And fighting Khan for a career high payday is surely better than being taken for the chump most people now consider him.

Ortiz never unified. Who has Ortiz beat to make him more worthy than Bradley?

Was Hatton undisputed Junior Welterweight Champion when he fought Floyd and Pacquiao?

Shaw is holding Bradley back. The only reason Bradley is not a bigger draw is because nobody knows him and the reason nobody knows him is because his management and other factors.

I do believe Bradley is a bigger draw than Khan in the USA. I don't believe Bradley needs Khan to make millions. So why should he fight Khan when he can make millions and not fight Khan?

Khan can fight Judah. Bradley can fight Maidana or whomever. But I don't think Bradley needs Khan as much as Khan needs Bradley and Bradley knows this himself. Khan doesn't have a chance in the higher weights because he doesn't have the style or the chin to beat even Andre Berto.

Bradley on the other hand has the sort of Hopkins like technical style that he can beat virtually anybody. I don't think he would beat Mayweather who is more technically gifted than him, and I don't think he would be favored against Pacquiao, but I'd rather see him fight Pacquiao than Khan.

I don't think anybody would prefer to see Bradley Khan instead of Bradley Pacquiao. And if Bradley fights anybody next and wins he not only gets money but he's perfectly next in line against Pacquiao simply because there just isn't anybody better for Pacquiao to fight.

Ortiz? Nobody believes the green Ortiz has any chance against Pacquiao or Mayweather. He beat Andre Berto. And Marquez in my opinion doesn't belong at that weight and is too old, so after Pacquiao knocks Marquez out there is only one undefeated fighter who would be worth it for Pacquiao or Mayweathers legacy. So Bradley is going to get one of these guys next and he should go for it.

If he gets beat like Clottey then everybody will know who he is and he will have made 5 million or more. If he wins then he's a household name and the P4P number 1.

ortiz is ranked number 2 at welter, if pac beats him he adds another belt and the ring title to his resume. Its pretty good if he accomplishes this. At this point ortiz is the most relevant opponent in the ww top 10.

If Pacquiao beats Bradley then he just beat the champion of a lower weight class who is also undefeated and who has a better resume. This would do more for Pacquiaos legacy than taking another meaningless title from a green fighter.

Bradley has actually beaten undefeated champions. Beating Bradley actually will be huge for Pacquiaos legacy because Bradley is in his prime.

You just want Pacquiao to take on Ortiz because you know Ortiz is the easier fight. But Ortiz could be high ranked but he's not a HOF fighter or legitimately great fighter. Bradley is legitimately great and could go down as a HOF fighter if he isn't already. If Bradley loses to Pacquiao but then dominates the division and beats guys like Ortiz and Berto then you'll see what I mean.

I don't see Ortiz ruling the division. He barely beat Berto and he doesn't have the technical skills to beat Bradley, and might not even be able to beat Berto again. The only thing Ortiz has is a belt, and he took it from Andre Berto. Big ****ing deal. He's not undefeated and he just won the title and now he should fight Pacquiao?!

Hatton was already a big star before he fought Pac and Mayweather. He took 20,000 fans with him to Vegas for both of them, nevermind the PPV figures he pulled in. Bradley is anonymous outside of hardcore boxing fans. Even in the States.

Right now I don't believe Bob Arum has any intention of picking Bradley for Pac. Commercially he brings almost nothing to the table. Wins over Devon Alexander and a faded Junior Witter aren't anything to write home about, yet. Beating fighters like Khan, Maidana, Judah or even moving moving up to face Ortiz, would change that. However, all of those guys could cause him problems and, for sure, I can't see him beating Khan. He doesn't have the power to KO him and Khan would use his speed and reach to keep him at bay enough to win on points.

Why is Bradley not taking the Khan fight? Pac is booked up this year. If he is so confident, why not take the career-high $1.4 million plus PPV split? The reason is he knows it's a very dangerous fight for him and he could lose.

Shaw is not a promoter in the real sense. He gets his payday from HBO and then flips it to a small casino venue for free rooms and meals and collects his percentage.
Bradley is clearly looking for his contract to expire with Shaw and then sign with Top Rank.A smart move in the long term.
**** Khan, that fight can wait for another day.

Let's see where Tim's career goes before we pass judgment. It's not like the guy has a history of avoiding challenges. He may just be looking forward to a Pacquiao fight for all we know.
