is lennox lewis one of the greats?

he is great, but his size gave him an advantage which gets him rated lower in my mind. Had he been the same size as everyone else he fought with his chin, he would not have been so great. But his right hand with his size was one of the best.

That interview is from YEARS later by a biased player in a fight that NEVER happened.

Bottom line.....Bowe, Lewis, Ruddock and Holyfield agreed to their mutual fights with the winners facing off.Bowe's camp lowballed a 90/10 offer to try and get out of it and than trashed the belt. Go ahead and post your crappy links from two years later, but Bowe DUCKED this fight!

Holyfield the same cruiser who is recognised as an ATG heavy, the same cruiser who gave Bowe his three biggest fights and floored him, and then beatdown Tyson. The same Holyfield who was the no1 in the world when he fought Lewis, and at the same time apart from a couple of rounds in the second fight, could'nt do FA with Lewis.
This is the negative way of judging a man's career.

No he wouldn't because he didn't have the power to do that to Lewis. Which i think was proven in the rematch.

:dealI've noticed it for ages with him. It seems i only see him on threads about Lewis, waxing lyrical on why he isn't a great fighter. At the same time he always drops Wlad's name in there.
I reckon his thinking is that if he mentions Wlad in the same vain as Lewis enough, then everyone else might start to believe he is has good. Which no matter what way you look at it, he simply isn't.
If your reading this unforgiven, which fighter other than Wlad do you like? Just asking because i can't remember seeing you on other threads, apart from Lewis ones. I ain't the type to check other peoples history, so i can't be arsed going down that route to find out.

Thinking about it quarry, your another one i see a lot on Lewis threads discrediting the man to anyone who will listen. Everyone to their own, but don't try and tell me Holy beat Lennox in that second fight, he fought better than the first, but no way did he win. That's just BS.

 

No, I don't particularly like Wladimir Klitschko. I'm no fan of Wlad at all, but I have to admit that he deserves some credit now - just as Lewis deserves some credit.
I think it's hilarious that I can be mistaken for a Klitschko fan.
Funny thing is, Lewis wasn't rated any higher than Wlad is now - when he was still fighting.

People have called me a "Lewis hater" a "Tyson hater" a "Dempsey fanboy" .... now I'm being mistaken for a "Klit-hugger" .... I think someone accused me of hating Ali once too - and Liston !
