If Kessler brings the same fire he brought to Froch, Bute is getting KTFO

Specifically he said that his right eye works like it never happened while the left still has some issues, but is much better - and he feels good enough to start fighting again.

He also recently said that there are things he cannot do anymore because of the long hard career he has had, but that he feels he can make up for it in experience. He didn't say what things we are not able to do now, but that would have been interesting to know..

Yes, he is usually incredibly crisp with a very very high accuracy... in the Froch fight he was just "forward and punch, punch punch" all the fight.

The question is how much of that change was necessary for that fight because of the damaged eyesight?

1.Kessler woudn`t KO Andrade even in three fights.Bute was poisoned before Andrade first fight, disregarding doctor`s non-fighting advice.

2.Froch had problems of preparation before Kessler fight due to Iceland volcano`s erruption. But beating a victorious Kessler will bring more glory for Bute.

3.Bute beat a better Magee than Froch did and finished him one round earlier.

    Other issues?

I actually think that the Kessler-Froch fight spoke more for how mediocre Froch is, than how good Kessler was at that point. Kessler brought more fire than ever before, but he didn't have the timing, accuracy or hand speed he had back when he was fighting Calzaghe. I mean, you only have to see the fights to notice this. Kessler has been past his prime since the layoff after the Calzaghe fight.

Always putting some ditorsion to what the other posters say, eh, Bat?

I never said Miranda wa a genius. I was talking about the fact that some saw him win the first 2 rounds.

Bute will be exposed by the top 5 SMW. Kessler will crush him in the latter half.

His coach told the story in the Ring Magazine after Bute-Andrade 2. This is well documented. Food poisoning in Romania, plus an allergic reaction to the anti-biotics made his metabolytes all crazy. Bute insisted to make the fight.

I know Bute from the beginning and I can assure you that I was not recognizing the fighter I was seing at the end of the fight. Bute has an excellent stamina.

Kessler won't be as good as he was versus Froch and he had already declined then.

Bute would beat him at this point, it would be very competitive, probably a barnburner because Kessler would fire up and the pressure might make Bute uncomfortable as he isn't exactly Pernell Whitaker. But Mikkel is too hittable now and it would cost him, Bute has the ability to change a fight with one punch and Kessler would give him too many chances. I think Froch underestimated Kessler and his ticker but i couldn't see him losing to him again.

" Froch also had to do a long car journey to get to the fight after arriving by private jet."

You´re right. Straight to the nearest racetrack for some laps with a danish pro-race driver. Poor poor guy-probably ****ed up the remaining balance he had left due to the ear infection too.

Kesslers punching was inaccurate due to the eye injurie. Are we done with the excuses now?

If you´re too injured to fight-cancel the fight. If you´re not-shut your mouth at quit bitching.

Obviously, u don't watch enough boxing....

Prime Kessler may beat Bute but last time Mikkel was in the ring, he looked awful. Bootay take this one.

Still good enough to beat Froch who is leagues above anyone Bute has ever fought.

Bute's food poisoning had some influence on that fight; still, this is boxing not chess and i give Andrade full credit for what he achieved there; let's not forget that Bute isn't the first to be swarmed by Andrade: Stieglitz, Lucas, Tsypko, Mack all felt his presure; he entered Andrade's dimension in their first fight. i don't understand why so many trash Andrade but forget he was Kessler's best win prior to Super6 and that he was in top 5 SMW.

Anyway, props to interbox for not making a case out of this immediately after Bute - Andrade I

Beyer and Mundine were both better wins for Kessler.

He may well have been unwell, but many fighters that have bad moments say something ie Woods had something wrong (think it was an iron deficiency), Hopkins I think it was a thyroid prob, etc it goes on
