Seems to me floyd gets plenty of support from the black community, I think almost all of the big floyd fans on esb are African-American.I guess its just that he wants huge support win/lose he is affraid to get disrespected like jones nowadays if he loses a fight.

Just to make it clear . . . he may have signed a contract which he and his team prepared and not a contract that both parties have agreed on. In this case it's clear that there was no negotiation because he ran into vacation immediately.

And how can this guy earn support from anybody when he is being charged of attacking his ex-girfriend and kids, being charged of attacking security guards . . . these are his family and country men.

That's only about a couple of dozen guys on this website. Look at the crowd when he fights, it's almost all white, very few black faces outside of a few rappers with VIP tickets. The last boxer I can thing of getting a big black turnout was actually Cory Spinks in St Louis. Unfortunatelt for him he lost all momentum after getting KO'd by Zab Judah in front of said crowd.

**** the African American community. I am black and I say that. They don't know how to support their own for ****. Most of my clients are White, Asian, and Hispanic. Majority of my business partners are White, Asian, and Hispanic even though I approach and try to help my fellow brothers out constantly. Hell I gave 6k dollars to the local NAACP in my area and they had well over 60k dollars to donate to blacks for college in last years class and the, mother****ers gave 12 high school grads money to pay for their books and that's it. Now you all excuse me for having a moment. :bart

The African American Community needs to change. Its not just about supporting sports. Its about supporting everyone who is trying to do something positive and the majority don't support each other.

Heres my opinion about the black community in terms of handing out support.

You get it when its convenient. Example: If a large scale of white people strike against you, they wont turn their backs out of their hatred for whites/the want to prove them wrong. IE: Obama Election.

Floyd is like by plenty of black people, yet he fights a style of boxing, that many people do not appreciate. He is the San-Antonio Spur of boxing.

Its more to it than that. I just gave an example that came to mind.

True indeed that is a more serious topic than boxing:good To many "factors" come into play in if there is or not any support in the Black community as a whole. However, saying **** the African American community is some what displaying self hate cause your mother, father, family and friends are members of that community.

Dude you can hate on Floyd all you want but my post has nothing to do with Floyd. I am talking about the black community in general. How about you go sell a woman or something you pervert pedo.

Excuses me. Let me be a little more direct and specific. In general, the Black Community does not support its own. You and I both know that. I have been all over this country and I have gone into black owned businesses and seen nothing but whites, and other races other than black in those businesses. Rarely ever seen and of my fellow African Americans at school board meetings as well. The only time I see them is when some injustice is being done by another race. Now as for me saying **** the black community is not right when I really think about it. Please don't think I am saying **** my black people cause I am not. Its more of a political statement than anything.

    lol great comparison:good

Although I'm a floyd fan and I love his watching his style but never get to like the spurs. They play euro style basketball:yep

Floyd still has support from some of his brothers but it doesn't help if he doesn't perform. He needs to fight once again, he still got a lot of fights left in him.
